Just creating a balance is so important.
Creating a balance between you as a woman, between your family, your faith and your health.
And so long as all of those are balanced and equal standing pillars, there's no way we
can get locked down.
It's so important.
So I cannot be a successful entrepreneur if I'm fully dedicated to my business and I'm
leaving my family and my health and my faith by the wayside.
I know that I need every single one of those aspects in my life to be in full, full balance.
So I really empower people to find that so that there can be peace and then your focus
on everything that's truly important to take off in our business.
My advice to other women that are considering, even those that are already starting their
own business is don't give up on your dream, never give up on your dream.
It's so important for us to stick together and to empower others to help somebody else
believe in themselves and believe in their dreams.
Sometimes we create doubt within ourselves that really sabotages our dream and our purpose
here in life.
So for me, one of the biggest challenges has been, you know, culturally, it was a, I was
never motivated by my family to go off on my own and to start my own business and society
calls for that.
Society is demanding for more women and more and more women are out there not creating
and starting up their empire.
Making sure that we're balanced, that, you know, that we don't neglect anyone of those
four areas in our life and that we thought it like I couldn't be where I am at today.
And it was like a real big bucket of water in my face before because I thought I was
just like just gung-ho and just always trying to go for the money and then, you know, I
was like go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
And then my kids are like, you know, where's my mom and I never got to see my kids.
So now that I realized that I wasn't going to buy my children, you know, and I would
tell them too and just tell them, you know, I'm out there hustling for you so you have
everything you need and it wasn't until after the whole, you know, cancer process and just
a lot of mishaps in my life that I realized money is not important, you know, family is
important, my health is important, following my passion is important and then money comes
as a byproduct of all of that, of creating a balance and doing the things that we love
and we want to do and then just, money just happens to be there right after and it's
so weird how that happens and how unreal it was for me to think that that could ever
be true.
Well, that question, cancer, going through cancer and experiencing it three times in
my life has really, really shaped who I am as a woman today and I feel that to be a blessing
and I know that through the adversity of just going through it.
I didn't see it in the beginning, I didn't see it when I was going through it.
I was mad, I was mad at God and I was mad at the fact that I thought I was going to die
and I had five amazing children that, you know, I was very worried as a mother and then
as time has progressed and, you know, I know that God has me here for a purpose that's
so much bigger than that and I really have discovered that I needed that.
I needed to go through cancer three times because I didn't get it the first time, I
didn't get it the second time and it made me very much aware of how beautiful life is
and how grateful I am every single day that I get to wake up in perfect health and that
I know that there is just so much more to me than what I chose to believe at that moment
and being able to exude that and to share that experience with other people and I know
that I had to go through it because otherwise I wouldn't have anything to share or how to
connect to people if I lived in this perfect bubble of just a big, big safety net and I
needed that experience along with a lot of other experiences that I would love to share
with you through our web series and that helped me and I have shaped me to be who I am today
and that's it.
