Hi. I'm Elliot and this is my friend Jay. He happens to be staying with me. He's actually
from Iowa where I'm from. And today I'm going to take you through my life in Chicago. I'm
going to hit up the spots and walk around, just goof around, just do what I do every
single day. And so right now we're starting off the morning, going downstairs, and we're
about to feast. All right, yo. This is what I get every single morning when I wake up.
This is Jasmine. She cooks the best eggs. Yogurt with granola, fruit, scrambled eggs
with all the stuff that you can possibly get in it. And then you put peanut butter to put
all the egg you can possibly fit on the bagel. And it's too good for you, you know, you guys.
Yo, what up? Yo, Jason at Plan B and Adam at DVS making you guys this. But I'm just
making this. I just want to say thank you very much for all of your help. And everything
you guys sent me, everything helps out so much. So I just appreciate it. And that's
what I'm making this today.
check the gears, check the bikes, check the wheels, yo. I just found this bike
like two days ago. And it's, she's a beauty. Founded a post office called the PO in Chicago.
Yo. And this is the Chicago Public Library. It's kiddie corner to where I live in downtown.
And we'll be going there in a little bit. I spend lots of time in the library. It's
too ill. You can get CDs and records and books and, and because of that, you get knowledge.
Oh, no, I just got a flat tire, yo. Hey, day number two with the bicycle. I already
earned it. What does that mean? Is that, that I need, do I need to pop it? Well, we got
a flat tire. So usually what I do in the morning is I just chill out and there's Panera right
down the street. So you can sit outside and I just read for a while. It's super relaxing.
So take it. I got mad, you know. And then give it to a, at school. What are we doing?
We're going to the Chicago Public Library right now. It's the Washington Herald Library.
And we're going to check out CDs today. I got a, some African joint, more Africanness.
Uh, low, uh, yeah. So 1946, 1947. We usually just get a bunch of Memphis Slim, like a bunch
of classical, jazz and blues. They have a great selection because Chicago's so well
known for their blues. And I don't really know too much about it. So I just check out
as much as I can and just try to educate myself, you know. We just got finished feasting and
now we're going to go skate PO. It's my favorite spot in Chicago. It's the best place to warm
up.
So it's called the Flamingo. It's by Alexander Caldwell. I believe 1973. It was a wrecked
spot.
If a night is rich, take her out for a meal.
If a night is poor, just do what you feel.
Spend it all with me.
You will turn old, turn twenty-five.
When the summer's down, you can make it, make it good, fill it high.
When I'm ready, it'll be.
When I'm daddy, when I'm in.
We love everybody, but we do us, we please.
When everybody's fine, they go fishing or go sailing in the sea.
When everybody's happy, at last we're livin' you.
This is our philosophy.
It's absolutely freezing, I tell ya. It's crazy.
Plan banana.
I'm about to tell you the random fact of the day.
Do you know that there's more people in China that speak English
than in the United States, dude?
This is my homie, Adam, I skate with them every day.
And Mr. Tim, all day.
Good cats, good kids, they're raw.
Adam's gonna stunt, Adam's gonna stunt.
When everybody's fine, they go out and see what you can find.
When everybody's rich, take a round for a meal.
When everybody's bored, just do what you feel.
You will turn old, turn twenty-five.
When the summer's down, you can make it, make it good, fill it high.
When I'm ready, when I'm daddy, when I'm in.
We love everybody, but we do us, we please.
All right, well, we're taking a little break right now.
I have class, so you get to see how well I get my academic game on.
And so I have management class, and it should be all right.
The professor's straight, it's DePaul University, right downtown.
It's like two blocks away from where I live, so it's pretty convenient.
You know, drop off the skateboard and pick up the boats, you know?
Very specific, very old.
There's a flyer, there's a...
This is my roommate right here.
This is my roommate, Cory, people.
So, it's pretty cool that you just eat, just go, this is my camp team.
Let's get you back.
You know, just get down, whatever you want.
Homie Trey, he is the homie.
Yeah.
I just get a kick out of there today.
No, you're never better than me.
You're never better than me.
Oh my God.
You're never better than me.
You're never better than me.
You're never better than me.
You're never better than me.
My man Jim, never taking a ride in my crib.
Turned himself in, he had to do a bit.
I won a three, he'd be home until 93.
I'm ready to get this pepochee, you with me?
Motherfucking right, my pocket's looking kinda tight.
And I'm stressed, yo biggie, let me get the vest.
No need for that, just grab the fucking gat.
The first pocket that's back to take it to his back.
Or it's born, I'm a smoker, you don't fake no moves.
I treat it like boxing, stick and move, stick and move.
You ain't got this plain shit.
I've been robbing motherfuckers since the slave shit.
With the same clip and the same four-five.
Two point blank, a motherfucker shorter time.
That's my word, you didn't even try to book off.
Have his mother sing it, it's off.
Yes love, love your fucking attitude.
Because the nigga play pussy, that's the nigga that's getting screwed.
And bruised up from the pistol whipping.
Whips on the neck from the necklace stripping.
Then I'm dipping up the block, and I'm robbing bitches too.
Up the heroin bones and bamboos.
I wouldn't give a fuck if you're an error.
Give me the baby rings and the number one mom pendant.
I'm slamming niggas like Shaquille, shit it's real.
Sup yo, it's getting later on in the day.
And about two blocks from the crib, there's this place.
Check it out, this is Plaza.
You would come here whenever you want, stadium lights, mad people skating.
It's like family all the time here.
It's just, it's happening, like it's dope, you know?
When he's sticking you, he's taking all of it.
Give me the loo, give me the loo.
Give me the loo, give me the loo.
Give me the loo, give me the loo.
Give me the loo, give me the loo.
Give me the loo, give me the loo.
Give me the loo, give me the loo.
Give me the loo, give me the loo.
Give me the loo, give me the loo.
Big up, big up, it's a stick up, stick up.
And I'm shooting niggas quick if you're hick up.
Don't let me throw my clip up in your back and headpiece the opposite of peace.
Send him on to the reef, you're talking to the robbery expert.
Step into your wake with your blood or my shirt.
Don't be a jerk and get smoked over being resistant.
Cause when I let the shit, the shit's his percent.
Goodness gracious, the paper's where the cash at.
Where the staff at, where the cash at.
Before you get your great duck from the main thug.
Yo, it's Kraken.
It's the conclusion of the day.
We're just chilling out.
All the homies getting down to some oldies.
And today was a pretty good day in the life, you know.
We got some skating done, got tricks, chilling.
And that's basically it for the day.
Peace.
