Did you guys see that shooting that happened two days ago?
Uh, because don't worry, if you missed it,
there was another one yesterday.
Mystery death of a young man in Baltimore police custody.
George Zimmerman will not face federal charges
in the shooting death of Trayvon Mark.
Cleveland police officer shot and killed
the 12-year-old who was holding a toy gun.
It's about an unarmed man.
He is shot by transit at Transit Police Officer.
Stavis is simply the black teen
shot and killed by a white man,
allegedly over loud music.
There was growing outrage tonight
after an unarmed African-American teenager
was shot and killed by police
in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson, Missouri.
But there are conflicting reports
about what led up to the shooting.
I'm disturbed about the white community,
North and South.
I've seen it all over.
I'm disturbed about the fact
there are still all too many white people in our country
who will still use violence
to try to keep us down.
I'm disturbed about the fact
that in Alabama and Mississippi,
tens and tens of murders have been committed.
Negroes and civil rights, white civil rights workers.
Nothing has been done about it.
Please don't shoot me, yeah, hey, hey.
Ho, ho, those killer cops have got to go, hey, hey.
So long.
And I say tonight to white America
that there will be no rest.
There will be no tranquility in this nation
until the Negro has his freedom.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
America has a choice now.
Either you give the Negro his God-given rights
and his freedom,
or you face the fact
of continual social disruption and social chaos.
Having it, we have gangs roaming the street.
And in many cases, they're illegally here, illegal immigrants.
And they have guns and they shoot people.
Well, there is a divide, but I have to say
that the police are absolutely mistreated and misunderstood.
You know what, look at my African-American over here.
Look at him.
You can keep on doing this if you like to.
You can engage in these suicidal acts if you want to.
Surely now a whole nation down a dark alley of defeat.
The world is looking at America.
Look, guys, the punishment for resisting arrest
shouldn't be death.
The punishment for selling bootleg CDs shouldn't be death.
The punishment for having a gun in an open-carry state
shouldn't be death.
The punishment for being a black man shouldn't be death.
America, which will you choose?
