We came here to interview Ronak for his RC car and we found a sexy beast.
Actually, Ronak's friend Vijay is Yamaha Avapai.
It's pretty cool. He's got a 150cc engine, 4 stroke, oil cooled.
So the remaining I think Vijay will tell himself which is bike after.
There's a 150cc, 17 PS. It's not exactly a beast but it's a mini beast you can say.
That's all it is.
So how do you find the bike?
It's okay.
No, it's not. It doesn't exactly meet up with everything that I expected.
It's okay.
We're missing.
Jumped to Pulsar 200.
Pulsar 200, the braking is very good. The handling is good.
Initial acceleration through the first and second gear is not that great.
High speeds.
When it touches beyond 50000 RPM, it really goes mad.
It kicks us.
It really does.
But on the track, anybody is us.
Pretty sure because of the cross-mono shock.
It's a cross-mono shock.
One of the main features of the bike.
You can remove the flap.
Just for protecting the spring from the mud.
So what top speed have you done so far?
I've hit 135.
Where?
While coming back from Pondicherry.
Indonesia.
What do the bike makers claim?
Actually, they don't claim anything on the net.
For the martyrs, the showroom says that it will hit 145.
It's very unlikely it will.
I think the top-end will touch 140.
I haven't redlined it.
I did that around 135 at around 10,200 RPM.
There's 300 more left.
So I expect it should touch 139-140.
That's my approximate guess.
But one thing, the main feature is that it is very, very straight.
Even when I was doing 125, I had to really push my brakes really hard.
Because there's one car which stopped right in front of me.
It didn't waver.
It just went straight.
Very stable under braking also.
17 PS.
See, what you have to remember is that all of us are looking for superbike performance.
But it's not that this is a true enthusiast bike.
This is a true sports bike.
It is what we've been looking for for a long time.
And it is definitely India's first true sports bike.
Because it's got the monoshock.
It's got the soft tyres.
It's got a front disc, clear disc, everything.
And the brakes are Nissan brakes.
So they're completely imported.
And the frame is an Xbox frame.
No, it's a Delta box frame.
The main feature of this frame is that the engine has no support at the bottom.
It is exactly like R1 and R6, the Tukati 109.
The engine is hard from the top.
There's no support at the bottom.
That is why the center gravity is balanced.
It's ideal for cornering.
It's very low. It's a very good track bike.
And we guys rode it on the track, Kachiparamutham, and they just released the bike.
And it performed very well.
I mean, if you're the kind of guy who really wants to enjoy your bike and ride it,
this is the bike.
Very stable at corners.
Center of gravity is excellent.
The riding position is spot on.
Absolutely no issues with the bike except for the fact that it's a little disappointing
because of the tall ratios.
The gear ratios are a little bit tall.
But other than that, there's absolutely no problem.
How about the maintenance? What do you expect from it?
I expect the one thing, the one problem that there is no center stand.
It doesn't have a center stand.
And that is one problem.
It's got tubeless tires.
And when I get a puncture, I don't know where to get it on without a center stand.
Yeah, tubeless tires, it's very easy to kick on your road.
And there's no crash problems on the frame.
Because any superbike which has got crash problems,
it protects its fairing basically.
Like two pieces of one, like a crash guard,
there's just a piece of metal or whatever.
It's the actual true version of what a crash guard is supposed to be.
Not just a long stick.
It is attached to the main frame.
It is attached to me, Shasi, somewhere here.
Shasi has an extension with the crash oven supposed to come out like that.
In a superbike, if it falls down, it takes most of the impact
without really hurting the bike.
But this bike is like, I don't know what will happen when it crashes.
I think this thing will be around 15,000-20,000.
So it's quite expensive.
And from the front, definitely.
No, that's just a guess.
It looks just like the R1 from the front.
It's just unmistakable on R1 and R6.
It's just straight in the same family.
And Yamaha has done a great job in keeping with that.
I really love the front end.
Front end amazing.
And the paint job is...
This is the Yamaha Blue.
The paint is amazing.
It's the proper flagship Yamaha R1 paint job.
Yes.
Yeah, it has definitely got the DNA of the R1.
That's...
No, I really like the...
And everybody knows the R1 is the top bike in the world for track racing.
And on the road, it's the best.
On and off.
Eight.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's the ultimate.
And so, you know, I would say if an R1 was to have a baby, this would be it.
Baby sexy.
