Common Thread is a new dramatic web series about a group of former high school classmates
that find themselves back in their fictional hometown of Treewick nearly a decade later.
They're now forced to deal with a lot of unresolved conflict and issues from high school and
they're well at the same time trying to figure out how to move forward.
The first time I ever saw any bit of Common Threads we were in a bar with no sound and
I was just watching it and it just seemed so right, so interesting and so real.
You know, Common Threads has gotten a lot more detailed I guess and it was very, Epic
D was kind of just a project that we, it was like a test run and it was a lot of fun and
we learned a lot about each other and a lot about each other's characters, so that kind
of helped with the, I think, the development of Common Threads.
I think people are more interested in following different stories, having more happen, even
like Game of Thrones, like the fact that you could watch an episode and not even see a
character but you see a character you didn't see last week, it's just more interesting.
George, good to see you old friend.
Yeah, of course.
Brian, I'm worried with you.
Did I miss something?
It's a whole new world, you know, Jack is sort of trying to turn things around but I
don't even think he really knows what that means because he's never been, I don't think
he's ever really, very often in any situation in which he wasn't just trying to serve himself
and now he finds himself in a spot where he could.
Hey.
Hey.
How was the meeting?
Ugh, you're not going to believe what a new client is.
Hey Brian, long time no see.
Caleb goes hard.
He lets people know exactly what he's thinking.
He's really done with the bullshit, which I really, really like.
Look, Brian, I kissed you in front of everybody.
I apologize, I'm really sorry, but look, I'm not into you, okay?
I'm not trying to convert you or whatever the fuck you think, okay?
Just follow Doug's eyes, follow Doug's eyes and I think you would get an insight on what
his common thread is to the holistic piece.
Does the name Anna Ocampo mean anything to you?
Oh, that ballad Victorian dyke that was on the news, sure.
The one that's bad at math, took too many damn pills.
You know, Poom is, he's an enforcer, like he enforces the top man, his orders, like,
you know, he's, he's the man, like, well he's the man under the man, but he's still
the man, you know what I mean?
And that's, to me, that's, you know, that exemplifies power to me, like I just, I love
that.
Hey, Nanny.
Holy man, you finally came back.
I was so worried about you.
No, Nanny.
Julia.
Julia?
Where's your mother?
Did she leave you alone again?
Nanny.
Forget it.
Oh, well, at least you're safe here with me.
Your mother should be back from the store any minute.
A lot of drama, a lot more Julia.
I feel like people are going to kind of get to know Julia a little bit better and realize
that she's, everyone has a reason for their actions, and she's not just a bitch or a slut
because, you know, she just wants to be a bitch or a slut.
She has a story, it's a really sad story, and, you know, people are going to be able
to relate with her better now that they can finally understand who she really is.
It gets pretty intense, so I guess you have a lot to look forward to when it comes to,
you know, their backgrounds, and you get to know the characters a lot on a deeper level
and in a much more dramatic sense, so it's going to be, it's definitely going to be good.
