Okay, and what's the origin of the song, if you don't mind sharing?
Well, I don't know, it was one of those songs that just poured out in just a few minutes,
and that doesn't happen very often, so it's really nice when it does.
It didn't have a particular story, but it's kind of about feeling like
you're just never going to be quite good enough to get what you want.
And it's about not giving up the hope, but also not being completely confident that you'll get there.
So it's kind of exploring that dichotomy of wanting to be optimistic,
but not quite letting yourself be optimistic.
Okay.
Yeah.
Okay.
Alright, let's hear it.
Alright.
Okay.
I'm getting older, you still haven't shown
that.
I'm getting older, you still haven't shown that.
Outside the wind it's still night and the wind don't pay me it's cold
Every body of it's body changes wonderful
I'm still here getting more
I'm trying
I need to be lovely so you'll love me
If there are no mistakes and every road leads to the truth
I will learn these lessons well each time if the lessons will lead to you
See I just want you
I'm trying
I need to be lovely so you'll love me
Someday you'll see
I'll be the version of me already you haven't met me
Once you do you're never gonna forget
For you I would follow anyway if there were space for me
Search to find out what you need and listen so closely
So listen just tell me
I'm trying
I need to be lovely so you'll love me
Could you love me
It was a bad thing about guitar it's always good on tune
Everyone's been tuning, everyone's been tuning all day so don't worry about it
They need to like invent a guitar that just stays on tune
Yeah I don't know what that's about
Is that the name of your guitar Daisy Brock?
Well it's from a company called Daisy Brock
So I just call it like my Daisy
Aww that's cute
Yeah it's really fun I love it
So I saw some of your stuff online
It was really really good
Oh thank you
Thank you so much
So you have any original stuff?
Yeah
I haven't been playing original stuff
Okay
You wrote them?
Yeah
Okay
You have a lot?
Yeah
And I'm working on a new album right now so I'm like a whole bunch of new material
Beautiful
How long have you been doing this?
Um I've been recording for about ten years
Playing guitar for like seven-ish on and off
Singing some Pharros this high
Okay
Alright and you do have acting experience I saw
Yeah
Would you like a hard copy of Pharros May?
Yeah yeah yeah
I take everything
The blood type
Yeah I know
There you go
Thank you
Alright
Alright so
What are you going to play for us today?
Well I was thinking I would play a song called Lovely
And I recorded it for my last EP
Okay
And yeah it's one of my favorites
Okay
And what's the origin of the song if you don't mind sharing?
I don't know it was one of those songs that just like
Poured out in like just a few minutes
And that doesn't happen very often
So it's really nice when it does
It didn't have a particular story
But it's kind of about feeling like
You're just never going to be quite good enough to get what you want
And it's about like not giving up the hope
But also not being completely confident that you'll get there
So it's kind of exploring that psychotomy
Of like wanting to be optimistic
But not quite letting yourself be optimistic
Okay
Yeah
Okay
Alright let's hear it
Alright
I'm getting old
You still haven't shown
I don't want to be stuck here growing up
Alone
See I'm still alone
Inside the wind is still now
The wind won't make this cold
Everybody
Hurts by each hand and it's wonderful
And I'm still here getting old
I'm trying
I'm trying
I'm trying to be lonely
So you're lonely
If there are no mistakes
And every road leads to a true value
Learn these lessons well each time
If let me to lead you
See I just want you
I'm trying
So you're lonely
Someday you'll see
A little version of me
Oh and you haven't met me
But once you do
You're never gonna forget
You found a bottle anyway
There was space for me
Searched to find out what you needed
Listened so closely
Oh listen
Just tell me
I'm trying
I'm trying to be lonely
So you're lonely
Could you love me?
