I'm here aboard the Merry Tea in Deal, Maryland at Shipwright Marina.
Below the crew is getting everything ship shaped for the big sailing adventure.
Kenny is walking on the radio and Amy is sorting out the library.
They'll be sailing north to Nova Scotia and then south to the Caribbean.
It's going to be the adventure of the year.
I'm hoping for a combo sort of adventure, ride, and enlightenment.
The complete package.
The complete package.
How do you feel about the couple's upcoming voyage?
Well, it'll be fraught with danger, no doubt.
The vessel seems to be quite fit, but the crew, they've been known to be a little deviant, you know.
This here is the captain and I'm the first mate of the Merry Tea,
and we're a pirate ship that's going to be taken off here from Deal in about a week's time.
We sail in north, plundering and capturing, and then we're going to turn around
and we're going to head south to the Caribbean after hurricane season, of course.
All you have to do is remember the three rules of seamanship and you'll be just fine.
The first rule is keep the water on the outside.
The second rule is keep the people on the inside.
And the third rule is keep the boat off the land.
So as I says, it's pirate Friday, and some of us is respecting the tradition and some of us ain't.
I won't mention any names, but rumor has it there'll be a keel hauling
for those who don't respect the pirate Fridays.

Merry treasure Bahama blue, where's the gold we haven't a clue, and it's pirate Friday, it's pirate Friday aboard the Merry Tea.
