John, today I get to marry my best friend, my encourager, the love of my life, and my
answered prayers.
As we join our lives in last names, I cannot wait for the adventures that await our journey
together.
Love isn't about the chemistry or the affatuation, it's a conscious choice to stand by another
side every single day through thick and thin, and what Ashley and John have is the latter.
They know the ins and outs of one another, and today we are graciously here to celebrate
that choice in each other.
Ashley, you're one of the most faithful, kind, and passionate people that I know, and John,
you're her perfect balance.
You're strong and calm, and you have made Ashley so happy since you came into our lives.
John, I've never seen you so happy before, and thank you Ashley, for doing that.
I commit my love to you, I vow to care for you, for all of our days.
I vow to dream with you, always celebrate you, and walk beside you through whatever life
may be.
Today the Lord has taken two people and making one family.
So as you have each other's hands, I'm going to ask you to take a vow, a vow that is not
made only of the presence of your family and friends, but also of the presence of God.
Pleasure in my life.
And my love to you.
All I am.
All I have.
And all I hope to be is yours.
From this day forward, I pledge my love, devotion, and faith to honor you.
I vow to grow old with you, and to always be your biggest cheerleader.
Here's to today, here's to tomorrow, and here's to forever.
Life is going to be ups and downs, and it's not going to be perfect, but when you stand
together and you stand strong, and you choose never to give up, you're going to make it
through.
And I love you guys, and God darn it, congratulations.
I hope that 20 years from now, as you guys celebrate your anniversary, you look back
at all of your days of marriage, and you realize that today is the least happy of them all.
By the power of destiny, by the state of Oklahoma and the Lord Jesus Christ, I pronounce your
husband and wife, John, you may kiss your bride.
It's my honor for the very first time to present Mr. and Mrs. John Angelo.
