Here I am, it's 2.30 a.m. pulling into DIA zombie mode.
Hello airport, how's everyone doing today?
Just lugging around, alone, convinced birds are chirping and hearing late laughter.
I decided to stay up all night to get the 2.30 a.m. taxi, because beggars can't be winners,
right?
What?
And here I am, on this carousel.
I just spent the weekend boulder and now setting off for a week long filming dream expedition
to Guanaha, Guanaha Honduras.
I think about things in terms of my entire life.
Being stoked, being stressed, being happy, being alone, and figuring it out.
Nine years ago was when it happened.
Nine years ago, amidst turmoil and fun and arguments, the peace came.
I told myself, let's deal with this, focus on something else.
The lens found my eye and my heart found the story.
And now, here I am, out of high school, on this island, driven by the lens with no time
to be wasted.
Yes, yes.
Raging your eyes to death at the computer screen, knowing what you're gonna do, forever, makes
me feel angrily anxious and buzzing excitement, got to move.
I never quite have an answer for what exactly I'll do, I don't know, a story is a story.
Some stories need something special to bring them along, some need very little.
All I plan on doing, is going creatively through this life, story by story, is best that I
can.
