This is the John F. Kennedy Memorial Edition of Life Magazine, including his biography and his most enduring words.
They printed frames of the Zebruder film, Life Magazine.
And if I remember right, I'm trying to remember exactly what happened.
Anyway, there was criticism about and proven that the frames were printed wrong to indicate a forward head snap after the headshot.
And Life's excuse was they just simply made a mistake when they laid it out and printed it.
I can't tell you.
We are participating in the American Dream.
We're grilling meats, many meats from slaughtered animals.
Animals that are raised in horrible, nightmarish, torture-like chambers were there.
They closed in a cage two feet by two feet by two feet from birth until death.
They plugged into giant machines.
And they have tubes extending into five different orifices of their body where they are given nutrients, chemicals, food, antibiotics,
and one tube which takes the waste from the animal and feeds it back into its mouth.
They are fattened up and they are hung.
These cages are hung above the slaughterhouse floor so that wherever they look, they see the fate that awaits them.
They see their brothers, which go before them, sacrificed so that we may stand here today.
Enjoy this wonderful meal.
Never let the fire touch your own flesh, but instead inflict its power and its wrath on the flesh of your enemies
so that they may know only suffering and only pain.
Tell us about your fire.
My fire burns deep and it burns pure deep within my soul.
Anything that you can grill is an honest food.
Anything that can't be grilled, you look upon suspiciously like a cereal.
Cereals fall in the weaker feminine category of food, not like meats.
A beef roast, that would be masculine or a big T-bone steak.
But you know, you take pasta like linguine, you know, and it kind of curves around and gentle.
That's probably a feminine kind of food.
Beef and pork and a shark steak, those are all masculine foods.
It's always tree bark.
Yeah, what is the purpose of hitting me?
This is an expression of my supremacy over the meat, even though the animal is dead.
There was a chef on TV talking and really hitting me.
So it's all like the same deal.
Yeah, she's biting me all the time. She's biting.
She says, I bite everybody.
She's the queen of the house.
To me, the significance of the Kennedy assassination, basically it was a turning point when the fascist
right far extreme right wing elements in this country basically took over the operation of the country.
You just look back at what happened over the 40 years and the pattern is fairly clear.
The right wing shadow government, if you want to call it that, that always did exist at least since World War II,
but probably since the Civil War really took full control after they killed him.
Basically it closed the door, it shut the door, slammed the door shut on any chance
that the working class would ever get any more of a fair shake through the system.
America after became a corporate controlled state.
Just exactly what Eisenhower warned in his final speech regarding the military industrial complex.
Corporate control in terms of, in every facet of American life.
Somehow you survive.
