So, we are in south of Transylvania.
We call this region south of Appusen mountains, and we are in the village Chib, who belongs
from Almashumare region.
I came upon a Woofen website from a friend of mine who was a fellow woofer, and she told
me about the experience, and I couldn't pass it by.
So, a way to learn about agriculture and how to be self-sufficient, you know, was something
that I always wanted to do and learn anyway, so I chose Romania, I don't think for any
particular reason.
I just, I guess it caught my eye, you know, I wanted a more remote, more truer experience

it.
This is our area, it is specific to the oaks, in particular, it is a mountain area.
It is a area with a lot of grass, a lot of harvest, for the food of the oaks and the
We encounter at the sheep farm a problem with labour forces, so we consider that volunteer
could be a very good solution and very helpful for us.
The main activity in the farm is basically to pick up hay to harvest hay and to store
the hay because it needs quite a huge amount of hay over the winter for the sheep especially
or the cows same and we are also involved in apple trees, plant trees and potato fields.
My dream is to have this, this life, this lifestyle, you know, you are one with the
elements, you are one with life, you know, you are one with the cycle of life and you
are not just living for yourself, you are living for the community and those around
you and it's just what unity is about, you know.
