Welcome to the City of Bears, Byrne Switzerland. The name Byrne loosely translates to bear.
Why bears? Well, I'll explain in part 2. Byrne is the capital city of Switzerland
and a wonderful city for strolling and shopping with many fountains and bridges. Also known
as the City of Flowers with its many geraniums and as Bohemian City filled with artists
and students. As a bonus, it only takes a few minutes to get to the lush and green
are, the turquoise green and clean river that flows around the old town of Byrne in a long
loop.
When you love, you do it somehow, When you fall, you try not to drown, when you scream, you don't make this sound
Blink once if you're alive, Blink once if you're alive
Bern can also be called the city of fountains, as there are many of them here.
I'm not gonna go through every single one, but we'll start with this one.
This is the oldest one, built in 1535 by Hans Hill Prep.
Let's steal a car and drive away, away from a life that's dead and gray
Bring along your favorite records and let us go, to a place where we are unknown
Cause nobody knows me here, but you do
Nobody knows me here, like you do
Bern Cathedral started in 1421 on the foundation of a previous structure built in 1191
But I check a plane and disappear, I do anything to get away from here
This is a Baroque style medieval peal tower with the famous astronomical clock that was once the main gate for the city wall
You are the fire
Nobody knows me here, like you do
Nobody knows me here, but you do
In this flat, which now museum, a physicist named Albert Einstein lived and developed the principles of his theory of relativity
Bern City Hall was built in the Berberian-Lad Gothic style in 1406 to 1417. It is head of the Cantonelle Parliament and the city council
Nobody knows me here, like you do
This clock is considered the landmark emblem of the city, a former city gate that was rebuilt on several occasions
Four minutes to the hour, puts on a little puppet show
Now, because I have a wicked sense of humor, I leave you with this, the fountain of the eater of little children
Yeah, disgusting, the sculpture is of an ogre devouring a child with many more children in a bay
Not sure why it's here, but there's lots of speculation as to what it means, that is your homework
Share your thoughts on our blog, we'd love to hear what you think, but in the meantime, I think I found the one and only ugly thing in Bern
Anyways, a little bit more of Bern and then we'll check in on the World Cup and see how well Switzerland is playing
That's up next!
