Nature is not perfect.
It is simply what it is, flaws and all.
Even the most perfect rose has imperfections.
There is a flaw in this lens.
Do you see it?
Okay, you will.
And when you do, you won't be able to see anything else, maybe.
We as human beings simply discriminate as trained and we accept what we have been told
is beautiful and acceptable.
We relish in discussing and judging everything and everyone based on flaws.
Our peers confirm our attitudes with their support because they have been trained to
do so.
The government helped corporations in prosecuting us because of our flaws.
Why?
There is big money in it.
Once we know of a flaw in character or personality, we have no choice but to concentrate on that
flaw.
We are trained to do so.
We judge others by these rules.
We do enjoy being holier than our neighbors.
It is the way we are.
We accept that as a way of life until we become the victim of our own flaw.
Here are some examples.
Maybe you can think of others.
We live in a house that keeps increasing in value.
We have paid our mortgage for 20 years but something happens, a flaw in your lifestyle.
And you can no longer pay your mortgage.
And your misfortune is so very good for the banks because the bank will foreclose and
take your house away.
It is to their advantage to do so since your house is worth more than it did 20 years ago.
So there is more money to be made on that property.
So the bank does what it does with the support of the government.
It throws you out, resell your property and make tons of money.
Happens to thousands of people each and every day.
Take something even more personal.
A couple who have been married for many, many years.
Then there is an indiscretion, a flaw in character.
Wow.
There is so much money to be made here and by so many people, the courts, the lawyers,
the bankers, your clergy, you name it.
Then there is the satisfaction of your friends and neighbors as they pass judgment.
Divorce is a major money maker.
Why else do you think the divorce rate is so high?
Major money maker.
OK.
One more example.
Oh, never mind.
I am sure that you can think of one.
So did you see the flaw in the lens?
It was difficult to see anything else once you saw it, wasn't it?
Oh boy.
The stimulating effect.
We get in seeing the flaws in others and the commerce of flaws.
As for me, I am trying my best not to bind to the common attitudes of judging others
because of their flaws.
You know why?
Because I am a flawed person.
Thank you.
Bye.
