There's been two experiences because I can't swim that I've nearly drowned and I was like
crap man I'm gonna die.
When my friend came up from underneath and he pulled me up and he was like oh thanks
for saving me but then he got all the praise and I'm like I'm gonna win it man.
Yeah I wanted praise.
What for drowning?
Well no for attempting to swim in it.
Dirty water boy.
I grew up in East London which is back then it was kind of hood like, it wasn't that hood
like.
People did get shanked but it wasn't that much.
I'm actually looking forward to canoeing.
It's just the water life.
I'm not about that life.
I'm not about the water life.
It's a bit too colourful for me you know.
It's nice to meet you, hey Winston, nice to meet you.
I'm feeling the tension now.
All right you go.
I feel very hench runs.
Loads of room, proper comfortable, a bit heavier, a bit bigger.
You know that moment just before you do anything and you're like nah mate, yeah I'm feeling
a bit like that.
Now I'm good, let's go.
I'm ready.
This is crazy man.
All right so I'm going to give you a little taste of what's in line to go up and down.
It's fine.
I've just got to hold my breath right?
Yeah pretty much.
Is it all right if I practice a few times?
Yeah of course practice much.
Yeah so.
Oh crap that's cold as fuck.
Oh crap.
Yeah yeah yeah.
Remember to keep that head tucked into your shoulders.
Oh yeah I forgot about that.
Okay so I'm going to make sure I close my eyes, close my lips, close my nose.
Relax, relax.
Take your time.
No I'm getting up though.
That was really outside my comfort zone but yeah I want to, yeah I really want to do a
360 but I know it's just, oh god.
You have any advice to stay up right when I go down like around?
Yeah tuck in forwards.
Lean forward like that?
Yeah like that.
Okay.
That's the only position we're going to do.
When you hit the water just relax.
Yeah let's do it.
Here we go.
Help.
Oh crap.
It was way too quick man.
Well done mate that was really good.
Oh shit.
I'm not going back in there.
I'm not going back in there.
Oh my god.
So when you first started kayaking, why do you do it?
Sometimes you think why am I doing this?
Yeah.
You start off at the end of the day and you're like warm, you're sitting down, you know you've
done like a good day's paddle.
Yeah.
Like it's a nice feeling.
It is.
Thanks a lot.
No worries man.
It was a pleasure.
That was worth experiencing man.
Yes.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
