Eternet is a city in northwestern Turkey formerly known as Hadronopolis during the Roman era.
These are my top sites and restaurants in Eternet.
And now I'm sitting inside Selimi Mosque, the biggest mosque in Eternet.
This mosque is located at Kavak Square which is built on the highest hill in the city.
When you enter the mosque you will notice an enormous dome that features detailed calligraphy.
This mosque also has a bazaar which is one of the main entry points.
The mosque is so big you can see it from almost any point in the city.
We are now standing in an archaeological park that is protecting what remains of the Roman
city wall of the city of Hadronopolis.
To my right we have Macedon Tower or Watchtower.
This is one of the four towers that protected the city.
We are standing inside the most famous bazaar in Eternet.
It's called Selimi's Ali Fasha Bazaar.
It was built in 1569 and it's one long corridor with 129 shops, here you can find basically
everything.
Clothing, shoes, luggage, toys, hats, scarves, you name it.
They have it.
The only thing they don't have in here are restaurants.
You have to check it out one year in Eternet.
Now for my favorite places to eat in this city.
We're here at Villa Restaurant, one of the many restaurants along the Marriage River
outside of the center of Eternet.
What you see behind me is the Ottoman bridge known as the Marriage Bridge.
And right now we're going to try some lamb skewers, as you can see.
And this is a great place to come to have lunch, dinner or just to come and have some
beer.
Cheers to Villa.
Gofessi Osman, it's located right next to the old mosque here in the center of Eternet.
This place specializes in hohte, which are meatballs.
The two things you have to try in Eternet that they specialize in are meatballs and fried
livers.
And here to my left, we have some fried liver that I made myself and it's fantastic.
Now let's dig in.
Hello everyone, we're here at Melek Anne, which means angel mom.
And right here we have Seba, the owner and chef.
She's owned this restaurant for 12 years and it's located inside a 125 year old house,
which is right here in the center of Eternet, about two blocks away from the Ala Pasha Bazaar.
And the concept here is very simple.
You come in and you choose from the specials of the day, which are Ottoman cuisine, vokal,
Ottoman cuisine from local ingredients.
She prepares everything daily and the prices range between 10 and 20 Lira.
20 Lira, you basically eat like a king.
And we've tried a variety of different things, from meatballs, pasta, dolma, which is salma.
So you have to come in when you're in Eternet.
It's a great place.
Awesome.
I'm sweating.
Tonight we're dining at Jerzy Kamal Busta.
Eternet is infamous for their fried liver and this place has the best.
This is 1982, it's very easy.
The only thing on the menu is fried liver and hot peppers, now let's dive.
Here we go.
So when you're having anything spicy in Turkey, you have to drink iron with it, which is basically
yogurt.
This is something that everybody drinks in the country and I've been drinking it for
the past few days.
It's fantastic.
Especially when you're eating hot peppers like this.
