Fairfax County police have an arrest in the Double Homicide case where two young men from
Dumfries were shot in their car in the middle of Dulcy Grove Drive in Lorton early on July
26.
Kelsey Jordan McCrimmon of Dogue Indian Circle Lorton in Lorton was initially arrested on
a robbery charge, then charged with the murder, which they suspect was drug related.
The police do not have the gun, but say they think they know where it is.
The incident is not gang related.
At a free open meeting of the Mount Vernon Genealogy Society, Char McCargo Baugh will
discuss less frequently used record groups to show the kinds of information you can find
about your pre and post civil war Virginia ancestors and their plantation.
The talk will take place Tuesday, August 15th from 1 to 3 p.m. in room 112 of the Holland
Hall Senior Center at 1500 Shenandoah Road in the Mount Vernon area.

A solar eclipse will cross the United States from west coast to east coast on Monday, August
21st.
Fairfax County residents will see about 80% of the sun shadowed by the moon.
The Park Authority is holding several programs designed to make your eclipse experience safe
