I don't think it's that bad, really. Really, I don't. I mean, I never hurt anybody. I'm
in okay shape, ish. I just don't see what the big deal is.
How's the vegetable patch coming on? Oh well, nice shape. You've not been growing that
maroon to a square shape, have you? Square is a sweep. I like to try a nice circle. Don't
like circles. They're lovely people. I can't fault them there. They've just got problems
like everyone else. Most of the older ones can't seem to kick the habit. Can you just
excuse me for a second. The majority do have jobs, partners. Some of them even have kids.
It's just that there's this obsession sort of on top of that. People just see the guys
from here, out on the street, and they think that because it's a more obvious addiction,
they can abuse them and treat them like second-class citizens. But actually, they are like everyone
else. Of course, some are worse off than others. He's a lovely boy, and surely that's
what counts. Yes, he has some troubles, but don't we all? He'd never hurt anyone, though.
No, no. That's a crown of his bloody parents, wouldn't it? Just lay around all day, do not.
There's not a problem with the game. There's not even a problem with drugs, both the illegal
kind and the taxable variety of which we're all very comfortable with. No, it's the people
who use them, those poor souls, who can't bring themselves to face the harsh reality
of life. They make themselves suffer. See, my game is just another simple solution.
I suppose it can be difficult. Difficult. Difficult. Yeah, that's an understatement,
I tell you. Lloyd, honey, come on, you can't stay in there all day. Come on, Lloyd. I'm
researching. What are you doing in the time, love? I'm not hungry. Come on. No, no, no.
No, no. No, no, no, no. No, no. No, no, no. No, no. No, no, no, no. No, no, no, no.
around the house. That's not true. You what? It gives me a hand when...
What does he help out with? The dishes. The laundry. Your hand's the laundry out.
Hey, what do you think you're doing, man? Come here.
I mean, the poor circles we have seem to help quite a lot, but they quite often have problems sharing, yeah.
OK, so Sandy, if you'd like to stand up and share with the group your progress over the past week.
Well, I've been doing really good. I haven't played for over 24 hours now.
But I did have seven big Max2 packets of fags and a dab of speed.
No, I've done it yet.
OK, you guys just hang on this dial and I'll be right back to you in a minute.
Hey guys, it's Phil Lloyd. You do know he's not here today.
We try to get the guys out of the houses doing something practical, something useful, but sometimes it just feels like bringing a knife to a gunfight, you know.
Sorry. Dennis. Dennis. This is not appropriate. You do realise. Dennis. Sorry about that.
It's really good.
Yep, if that's how you feel comfortable drawing them, then you go for it.
Yeah, I think I've got it now.
OK guys, we're going to have a bit of musical therapy today, so don't be shy.
Everyone, come up, pick an instrument and enjoy yourselves.
OK, let's go.
OK.
OK.
Yeah, yeah, I'm all right. It's been a few weeks since I, you know, I got this job.
It's good. Kicks me out of the house, kicks me busy and I met someone.
She's into the space invaders. Space invaders. It's ridiculous. It never happened.
That's the truth. I think I can change that.
Hey.
Hey.
Hey.
