So it's day seven on the trail about two-thirds of the way done and it's been
great so far. Everyone's getting along really having a great time and just
joking around real light-hearted. I'm gonna have fun and nobody's bickering
everybody's having fun you know everybody's getting along so well which
it's actually really hard to find a connectivity like that. It gets easier as
the days go on even like even with heavier stuff I was noticing that it's
not as heavy, your feet don't hurt as quickly, your body doesn't hurt as long
takes longer for the pain to set in. So the longer you're out here the easier it is.
Well you see stuff like this on TV and you're like oh wow that looks amazing but
once you're out here it's an even better experience. Hiking up Mount Phillips was
just awesome just the view was just incredible and the most the more
incredible thing for me is just like wow you know just just a little speck you
know looking at all this. We just sat there and just looked at the view just
got it all in. I've never clear creek is so cold up there I wish I would have
brought better cold weather gear with me like gloves and stuff like in a beanie
and had none of that. I didn't think it would be that cold.
Tonight there's a competition of Tomahawk. Alright y'all welcome to the Clear Creek
Mount Man Challenge. What we're going to do is we're going to get two people from each crew, y'all are going to throw some hawks, so we decide who's the best of you.
And after that we baptized her. We called her Tomahawk after that because you know
she was really good at it.
We got to go to Crooked Creek and that's a place it's kind of like Little House
on the Prairie and it was so special. It's so great.
I'm trying to give myself a little more time to just kind of sit by myself and
reflect, done some good life thinking this trip. I was just wondering if we're
gonna see Harvey again tomorrow or not. So I've been thinking about. The very next
day I get back I'm gonna have to go back to work in a cubicle. No trees no nothing.
And be on the phone all day so I'm not looking forward to that. Now it's just
you know as the days are creeping closer and closer it's like you know I want to
try and cram everything else in before I have to go because you know every time I
step off this trail you know a part of me is thinking you know am I ever gonna
be able to come back? I don't know.
