My name is Rachetia Clark and I am Elizabeth Arden's lead makeup artist.
I am going to show you how to recreate three makeup looks using the Elizabeth Arden Rosa
Aurora collection inspired by the Spring Summer Catwalk shows.
Along the way I'll be showing you my backstage beauty tips and tricks on how to create Florida
skin this season.
One of the most striking trends we've seen this season is the minimalist.
The look is defined by Florida skin with a golden sheen across the face as seen at the
Louboutin and Dr. Gammanne show.
First of all I'm going to show you how to prep the skin to create a really beautiful
fresh glow.
So the first thing I'll do before I create any makeup look is apply a great base of
moisturiser.
I'd use the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream daily moisturiser with an SPF 15.
I dab into the skin and then moisturise around paying close attention to underneath the eyes.
Next I'd use the 8 hour cream, dab this on the lips, this just helps add moisture and
keep the lips supple throughout the look.
It also creates a great base for me to then apply the lip colour to.
You can also apply to the eyebrows just to hold in place and then you can bring it down
slightly onto the brow bone and socket line because it will help the eye shadow hold onto
it.
Have you looked down for me?
Okay so you just want to get right to the root of the lash zigzag the Ceramide Ultra
lash lengthening mascara in black.
So you always want to brush through the lashes with a dry mascara brush, this just allows
the lashes to be very natural looking but still coated.
The next thing I'd use is the Pure Finish Mineral Tinted Moisturiser.
This is a really great base, it makes your skin look luminous and fresh which is great
for all the looks that we're creating today.
When I'm applying the base I always start at the beginning in the nose area, there is
always the most discolouration here.
Then I blend outwards.
I use two shades as most people are never really one shade so this gives a personalised
colouring and you just work it into the hairline then out.
Always take the base down into the neck and onto the chest to create a colour matte that
flows.
Next I'm going to apply the Pure Finish Bronzing Powder.
Tap off any excess and brush underneath the cheek bone for a slightly sculpted effect.
The darkness of the pigment will then just enhance the natural hollowness of the cheek.
Next with the Kabuki brush I apply Pure Finish Highlighter in Rose Illumination onto the
apple of the cheek up into the hairline.
Next I'm going to apply Colour Intrigue Eyeshadow in Sparkle.
Tap off any excess so that you don't have any drop down.
Just brush it over the eyelid starting from the inner corner working your way to the outer
corner.
Don't go above the socket line.
Next I apply the Pure Finish Bronzing Powder in Soft Radiance.
Tap off any excess and just literally sweep over the socket line.
This just adds a slight depth.
It also creates a multitasking for a product which is always a great tip when on holiday.
Next I use the Pure Finish Mineral Foundation Powder to deshine around the nose area, forehead
and also underneath the chin.
This just helps to kind of give a flatness to the face.
Very crucial in the centre of the face.
For the finishing touch I'm going to be using the Ceramide Ultra Lipstick in Sugar.
I'm going to press it into my hand and then dab on with my finger into the lip.
This just adds a lovely wash of colour to the lip.
Nothing too strong for this dowel look.
This is this season's minimalist look.
