Our reality as chaotic as it looks to us from time to time is actually built of very simple
patterns that simply repeat themselves again and again and again on different magnitudes
throughout the universe.
We think of power as power over other people.
That kind of power is too hazardous.
If we don't, with modern technology, find a way of avoiding war, then the human race
could extinguish itself.
When one cycle ends, before the next cycle begins, there's a window of time where neither
exists and it's in that place where our choices have the greatest potency to change the cycle
of the past before it begins the next cycle.
The metal mindsets that we have had go back millennia are obsolete.
We have an opportunity to break out into a very, very different world.
I do feel that the greatest satisfaction people can get from life is making a difference
to other people's lives.
Everybody can make a positive difference.
I love the sentence from Mother Teresa.
She said all I did was put very great love into a very small thing.
It just felt like every time I was lying or I was cheating, I was taking drugs or committing
crime that it wasn't me, it wasn't the person I should be.
To many people, it would look like I was failing.
Like I was throwing away a job, because I did, I left the city, I left the money the
millions offered.
As an investment banker, that's what you're leaving on the table.
If we continue to make the same choices we've made in the past, continue to do things in
the same way.
Our lives will continue to repeat themselves, but just in the same way that they've gone
in the past.
But then when we make a change in our hearts and minds, change in our behaviour, make some
kind of choice, things will repeat themselves again, but in a different way, a way that
now reflects the choice that we've made, a way that reflects how we're now behaving
and how we're thinking.
These things are known as choice points or tipping points.
They are critical points at which suddenly an entire new range of behaviour becomes available.
