Imagine that one day, your life starts to fade away, that all the people you have known and liked disappear one by one.
That family faces become undistinguishable, that you no longer remember what you have to do and what you have done,
so that you no longer know who you are in a world that has become incomprehensible.
It is because we all risk, ourselves and our loved ones, to shoot the big fire at the blaze of Alzheimer's that mobilization is necessary.
And it is for this reason that everywhere in France, volunteers and artists are already mobilizing to advance things.
Created in 2006, the Marguerite against Alzheimer's is a collective that groups several dozen artists, totally volunteers.
A structure in the middle of the ultra-mediatization of children, which leads to at least a vital fight.
The Marguerite are born of the will of two men, Thierry Cadet and Cédric Barré.
I wrote a song for my grandmother who had reached this disease called J'étais pas,
and Thierry, who is one of my friends, journalist and musician, also fell on this song and was very affected,
because he also lost his grandmother from the disease.
He called me saying, listen, your song really affected me.
Would you agree that we make a collective around that, of artists, to mobilize people around this disease,
because it is a disease where we talk little, still today.
We did a few concerts, we sold a lot of records and we were able to contribute with some associations,
a support, if not human, at least financed, to allow them to advance in their projects.
And if it can allow to sensitize associations, organizations, politicians, still,
and even people on this disease, we will have managed our little Paris anyway.
Through a beautiful spring day, a delegation from the collective came to propose a concert in Lorraine
at the invitation of the Couchant sun.
This association, which has a little more than 20 members, is centered on the Cantoux,
a home of retreats, which hosts 50 diseases of Alzheimer's in a specialized unit.
These volunteers, very motivated, multiply activities and animations to support residents and their families.
And they meet regularly to plan their actions,
they perfectly understand the problem posed by Alzheimer's, because many of them,
have you close to the disease?
At the beginning, there was an association of families,
and little by little, other people came to this association and told us,
your association will last only a few years, two, three years.
And in fact, it will make 20 years that we are,
that this association was created.
We try to give a little bit of hope to the families,
to take care of their residents.
They have had a life, these people there before, and they are formidable people.
To see how they are reduced, it's sure that it must...
I don't know how to explain this to you, I can't explain this thing.
The concert is Lydie, who at the beginning was the instigator.
The idea came from the internet.
I discovered the Marguerite contra Alzheimer's,
under the cover of Cédric Barré and Thierry Cadet,
who themselves had had relatives affected by the disease,
and had released a single.
So I approached them on Facebook, on the internet, etc.
Then I contacted them to sell their first single, I wasn't there.
And then, in a row, with Cédric Barré,
we said, why not a project, a show, the Don de la Reine?
It took them three months to work with all the members,
and a lot of concern for the project to be completed.
The audience answered, even if the organizers would have liked
that there were still more.
But the people who had made the move were well aware of the issues.
I have a lot of respect for all the associations,
because they mobilize the benefit.
That is to say, the donation of either for the others.
Whether it is already remarkable,
but in this case, it is extremely difficult.
Difficult, because we are confronted.
They are confronted with the disease,
they are in the relationship between families and the sufferers,
and at the same time, it is superb,
because, simply, they reveal human qualities,
that it is the part of the sufferers or the helpers,
which are, each time, dazzling.
I find it exemplary.
The cause that brings us together today,
is obviously the one of Alzheimer's disease.
I will make it very short,
because I think that everyone knows,
simply, two very eloquent figures.
Alzheimer's is a million people affected in France.
It is enormous.
And it is simply 30,000 new cases per year,
which are detected.
We will welcome Matteo right away,
if you do not mind.
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
With his rather orange look,
Matteo is the winner of the artists of the genre.
Original by Toulouse,
this composer and interpreter author,
lives today in Paris and lives fully his passion for music.
He joins the Marguerites very naturally.
A few years ago,
we had already done together with Cédric Barré,
who has the initiative of this project,
the meetings of the staff.
And I saw the famous song,
I was not born during this stage.
And so we stayed in touch with Cédric,
all these years.
And since then,
I have been able to do a few concerts with him
about the Marguerites.
So here we are,
the initiative of this meeting
and a participation in the project.
I make love in my scope,
but you are never the sign of me.
All my planets,
this telescope,
without you.
Without you,
the balance loses my balance.
The scorpion, all my eagles,
I am only the blood in our lips,
of all our brothers.
For the second part of the concert,
Léna Ca and Cyril Polus
had decided to join their talent
in all friendship.
Hello.
Revelled in 1999
with a recording of Daniel Balavoine,
Léna is an author,
composer and interpreter,
extremely gifted,
who wrote songs for Daniel Idé
and Lame, among others.
There are several artists in the collective
that I know.
And suddenly,
when they offered me to participate,
obviously, I accepted.
When you contact me for this kind of cause,
obviously,
I answer very quickly,
yes,
it is obviously a disease that makes me very scared,
since I saw my grandfather
die and it is very hard,
to see someone who loses everything.
Time,
it does not count,
I do not say,
I do not say.
Thank you.
On stage,
Cyril Polus is in his element.
As a composer,
he wrote for the musical comedy
The Sun King,
for Roque Loisine
or Yannick Noir.
But he is also an exceptional interpreter.
I am Amid Longdeat,
with one of the two founding members,
Thierry Cadet,
who had already talked about the association.
And one day,
he offered me to come
to the Vasis concert,
a few years ago.
And I accepted with pleasure,
because,
as an artist,
it is good to support,
from time to time,
those who are noble.
It is always a beautiful experience,
every time I do it.
Thank you.
This Sunday,
the artists of Marguerite
sang as if they were
on the biggest stage in the world.
The moment was magical.
The
Sunday on the water
All these people on the photos I know
I know them,
it's good before
My memory,
my memory makes me crazy
To play around,
a little too young
A little bit of that,
or not before
The anniversaries,
all that,
you have done that,
without me
If it was yesterday,
in any case,
I wouldn't be me
I wouldn't be me
Don't ask me why
I wouldn't be me
I wouldn't be me
Don't ask me why
I wouldn't be me
Don't ask me why
