Um, East Bay Gangster by Spice one
spice ones. I mean yeah I've been skateboarding my whole life and you know
I started when I was yeah 18 months old really kind of started standing up on
the board when I was about three or four and then yeah turn pro at 13 and you
know I think I think you can be born with talent but I also think that
skateboarding can just come to you like you can be 13 14 years old and one day
get on a skateboard and just feel like that's what you want to do and like you
could be the best skateboarder out so um yeah you can be born with it or you just
go for it have fun
um in the States the best spot the best spot is San Clemente California that's
where I live and I personally just think it's the best because I travel so much so
when I go home it's like a vacation but uh you know there's so many beautiful
places in California and around the United States and but I love it out
here like Barcelona is one of my favorite places to come and I haven't
been here in about three or four years so it's good to be back a lot it takes a
lot of falling to get most of tricks I try especially a lot of the the tricks
that are gonna be in my video part it takes a while like sometimes it'll take
two days to get the trick you know and you can only you can only jump down big
stuff so many times before your feet start giving out so I don't know pretty
mellow but it definitely takes a bit to conquer a gap I guess
I was just amped up for that one I was just excited all my boys were around and I
think it was like the first day we got on the trip so it was just everybody's
so excited to be in Australia and they showed me that gap and they're like no
one's ever done this and I got it right now and I don't know I just amped up I
just did my biggest inspiration skateboarding is probably Danny way
just because of how gnarly Danny is and how much he's been through and what he's
done and just the pure will to keep skating even if you're hurt I don't
know I don't consider myself anything I'm Ryan checker nice to meet you what
and where I don't know I think that the Costco gap where I kicked with it it's in
the things in the plan B video the plan B promo that kick-flip at the end of that
was probably the biggest thing I've ever done in skateboarding so far
my friends and my family just a healthy family and you know just having my
friends around it keeps me amped you know I get so amped off skateboarding
but I also like to surf and you know just keep it active stay active I mean it
feels it feels normal like all I know is skateboarding you know all I know is
these contests and skating street and doing all this stuff so having it all
come back up again it's pretty pretty no-brainer it's kind of just systematic
now just works no we rode in some like temples and stuff in Shanghai in China
but different religion different things not only I haven't really skated at a
church but I would I feel like I'd actually land a trick better I feel like
I'd land a trick better at the church I feel the feel the power
I like that it's just you can skate everywhere everything has metal on it
and it's just a good skate scene with kids around everybody's just amped to be
a skateboarder it's really cool
freedom pure freedom
