Like last year, you know, I guess the car wasn't as put together.
I mean, that's kind of like what I feel is really key to this event.
You know what I mean? Like, we're prepared.
That's how it feels. Like, the car has the correct power to do the job.
The team's like ready to rock.
Yeah, we could be able to come out here and just start laying down some solid laps
and just, yeah, just make it happen.

Friday's practice went good for us.
We were able to really focus in and dial in like what we needed to do.
Being a little behind on Thursday kind of added some pressure for me on Friday,
but it seems that I work well under pressure.
So we were dialing it in.
We got ready for qualifying.
I took my first qualifying lap. I scored a 78.
Sounds pretty good, but really the cutoff here was just about 80.
So 78 was a 32 qualifying result.
The lower you qualify, the harder the matches in the initial top 32 battle.
So we had a good example of that.
You know, we had a good run with Ken Gushi.
I was really able to beat myself and be comfortable in the car.
I even shattered a front bumper with him in the lower apron, which was really cool.
But, you know, those small mistakes cost me.
So everything is so technical at this level and professional drifting.
And I'm just happy to be here, you know, I'm pumped to be here.
The fans are awesome.
I got to sign a lot of autographs and really just have a good time with the crew.
And overall, you know, we're going home with some good results.
Obviously, I got to get the top 16 soon.
But we're working on it as a team.
We're growing as a driver.
I'm feeling more comfortable every round.
I'm pumped.
