You were the best, and I thank you for sharing the life with us.
We live in the neighborhood of Lyft here for over 30 years, we feel sorrow for their tragic
loss too, and I mean I simply goes out to them and I can't imagine what it feels like
to be in their shoes, I just, I can't.
It's very difficult to articulate the amount of gratitude that our family has, it's just
been a piece.
Overwhelming is the only way to describe it, and it's a way of honoring Sarah, that she
has left a positive legacy in the community.
For the past two years we see situations with Eddie Johnson who was gunned down by a 16 year old.
I have sons.
A child should be able to be safely outside, and I'm not saying that Elkhart is the only
place that is happening, there's kids dying every day in Chicago and things like that,
but this is a small town.
There was times where I just wanted to give up, and I would just seriously like, pass
it on to my mom's like dining room table, she would wake me up, you know, she was getting
ready for work and tell me, hey, you have to get up, you have to, you know, you might
not sleep well today, but you have to get up and you have to keep pushing yourself.
Oh my God, mom.
