Over the last few years, thousands of Greeks have decided to move abroad.
My name is Nicolas and I am one of them.
As a filmmaker, I soon realized I was part of a migration wave that was worth recording.
But when the economic and political crisis in Greece went out of control, making a documentary
about us just didn't seem to be enough anymore.
So I thought of asking my friends to help me build a platform that would encourage Greeks
all over the world to share experiences and exchange ideas, to join forces in order to
seek solutions both for ourselves and the ones we left behind.
It's about time we tell our own part of the story.
When I said I was Greek, all of them said to me,
I don't have any money to give them.
And you don't say that when you don't know anything else.
I left my village because of my mother, my father, my sister and my friends.
But each one of them took his part.
I lived in a foreign country.
I wanted to live in a country where I could solve all the problems I had.
I'm Dimitris, I'm Greek and I'm an economist.
I'm Dimitris, I'm Greek and I'm an economist.
Bravo!
Bravo! Bravo!
