It feels great, you know, all the people that stopped me and want to take a picture or whatever or talk to me and it's cool because it's something that I probably thought that I probably knew that it was going to happen but I didn't really believe in it till now that it's really happening and it's cool.
It's great, it's a blessing. Well, I'm very different on everything, like on my lyrics, on my music, on the stuff that I do, I'm pretty weird on certain things and I think that reflects also on my image.
And, you know, I do have a lot of friends that are into fashion and they always give me, like, you know, my man AJR, Sebastian Marroquin, HD, Evocator, I have a couple people that, you know, always, you know, like, yo, rock this shirt, look at it, you know, and they always tell me but it's just, you know, I think it's me, you know what I'm saying, it's really me.
Like, so it's just like, what I sound like, what I dress like is the same thing.
Back two, three years back when we had a record called What I Got a Pittus Berry, which is a big record, it started blowing up all over.
We heard that people wanted to jump on the record, wanted to do the remix and we was excited about that, we made that happen.
Not only did he jump on the record himself, he actually invited Little John to jump on the record also and which made the track even bigger.
We shot the video with him and Little John in Miami, put the video out and, you know, ever since then the record really blew up, you know what I'm saying.
And we got to kick it, we got to perform the track together in a couple spots.
He invited me to some of his tours. We did the US tour, the Europe tour, we did the Canada tour and, you know, it's been great to work with him, you know, to be on the road and to get to learn and see so many new things, you know.
And today we're working on an album. As of now the album is called We Ain't Even Supposed to Be Here and that's what we're working on, man.
I think people is the perfect for what I do. Me being a Latino, you know, a Dominican, up-and-coming artist, I think there's not really another artist that I could really look up to like that,
doing the type of music that he does because he started as a hip-hop artist. So you might not know much about people, but you do know of people, you know what I'm saying.
So he's, you know, he has grinded, you know, like I said, being a Latino is not easy for us in the hip-hop market or in this whole entertainment thing.
And I think that he crossed all those lines, you know, he broke all those barriers and just for that, you know, I'm glad that I'm working with him because, you know, I wouldn't even think of somebody else to really ask for advice, you know what I'm saying.
I could relate to him, you know what I mean? And, you know, it's just about making that music, that world music and that's what we're trying to do.
That's what I'm trying to do, that's what I'm learning, you know, and that's what I'm focused on.
Thank you.
