Thank you.
When I first came to the group, I was very happy to discover that it's a very interesting
mixture of personalities brought together with a very interesting criteria.
And the good thing is that even if we're very different from each other, it's completely
possible to have a debate and to have interesting conversations about music.
So that's something that for me as a musician counts a lot, to be able to not only feel
good when we're playing together, but also being able to discuss and treat the musical
matter very openly and very seriously.
So it's a very exciting feeling to be a part of something revolutionary.
Thank you so much.
The primary thing that I've noticed is that actually the instruments that I've
noticed is that actually the instruments don't matter. You know, you just bring your own musicianship
and you are responsible for whatever you give in order to create this effect together.
But it's very refreshing and I think it's been a really great thing for me to also recalibrate my own playing
and my own approach to the music. It's not just energy that we are trying to put into the music,
I think we think about the music a lot and people are really there to discuss.
I just spent a very long day of rehearsals which was fantastic. This was my first encounter with Geneva Camerata
and I found an amazing group of people, all young, all studied at the best schools,
all our stars in what they're doing and just finding them together with the passion, with the energies
and with the will to go very deep into the pieces we are playing. That was an amazing pleasure.
Again, Russian little bits, also the very beginning.
Really, let's try to hold this.
Bach Music for me is a huge part of my life. It's a cellist. One deals with it every day, every year of the career.
It's probably the most important composer for me.
Hello David, how are you?
Hello chef, nice to meet you. How are you doing?
So, how are you doing?
For me it felt like, you know this feeling when you hear the click and you realize, okay, this is going to work.
So it was the first impression, the first project, the first rehearsal. You hear the click, the right combination of people,
the right combination of level and energies and inspiration, I would say.
And then it all sort of working together and I'm really excited because I think it will just go higher and higher and higher.
Welcome to our wonderful team. We have Celine here. And Mariela is coming with us everywhere. And to all our friends, you are fantastic, you are wonderful, we love you so much.
Cheers! And to the Bach family.
Personally, Bach's music is a great way to tell stories. It's something really intimate.
I had a great feeling because I think Bach's music, I'm not the first one to say that.
But you can play, it's written in a way, Bach's music, it's written in a way that it can be played even for a tuba solo.
It's a great way to tell stories.
Thank you.
