We have so much to be thankful for and so we lift up our voices in grateful praise.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.
The 100th Psalm, a Psalm of Thanksgiving.
Make a joyful noise to the Lord all the earth.
Make a joyful noise to the Lord all the earth.
Make a joyful noise to the Lord all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness.
Come into His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord is God.
Know that the Lord is God.
The Lord is God.
It is He who made us.
And we are His.
We are His people.
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving.
Give thanks to Him and bless His name.
Bless His name for the Lord is good.
His steadfast love endures forever and His faithfulness to all generations.
To all generations.
The Word of God.
Amen.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.
Well, you raised the question about saying something about gratitude.
Gratitude is a translation of a word that sometimes translated grace.
Grace upon grace, grace upon gratitude, gratitude upon grace.
When you see two people standing facing each other and between them is a gift.
And you don't know which one is giving it and which one is receiving it.
That's the Christian Act.
Grace is receiving gifts.
Sometimes the giving is easier than receiving.
But I think it would be true.
It's true to my conviction that of all the virtues available to the Christian, gratitude is the chief.
I have never known anybody grateful who was at the same time small, sniping, bitter, judgmental.
Amen.
Unloving.
Gratitude just isn't.
I commend it.
