That was a good one, I think.
All right, so you know why I brought you here?
Kind of, kind of.
I got to be briefed.
Everybody's trying to push you into doing something else, like something that's, like, not part of your comfort zone.
I don't think you necessarily have to change because, like, I mean, I've seen your videos and it's different.
It's not, like, traditional.
It's just money going to waste.
Yeah, it's just color corrected really bad, just, like, pushing off, like, the wrong saturations, you know?
Well, like, I feel like the way you look at, like, music videos is different, you know?
It's not, like, traditional, I guess.
Because when we were talking about, like, earlier, like, that night, we were talking about, I guess, different ideas and different ways to portray music through the visual.
And instead of having a good song and a really bad video, like, having the video not only, like, help it, but, like, push it.
Right.
Push it to the next level, you know, enhance the music.
Yeah, I feel like a lot of people are ready.
Like, what do you think, like, the future of, like, video for our generation is?
Like, it's already come such a long way since it, like, first began, you know?
Mm-hmm.
Like, first being, like, only commercial and then, like, so available to everyone, now it's, like, anybody has access to, like, record video.
First, like, before even, like...
But aside from that, like, just being able to, like, kind of, like, tap into everybody else's creativity and then bring it out in, like, my medium, which is video is, like, amazing.
Yeah.
Like, yeah, I was stressful, and I'm not, but, like, the final product came out.
It looks great.
Yeah.
Happy.
Yeah, of course.
You should be proud of anything you do, you know?
And especially when the show helps other people.
But you rap, you know, and then I dance.
It's just something that, like, I feel like a lot of people just don't want to, like, I guess, go towards something that they know they can't really do.
So, like, I feel like, like, we can, like, I feel like we can go somewhere with this, like, actually.
With music videos?
Yeah.
What makes you think that?
Just the way that, like, I don't know, it's different.
It's not, like, something that you see like that.
But, I mean, the thing is, like, we're always influenced by things we do see, like, on YouTube or Vimeo.
Like, we're always watching other people's creations.
We're like, oh, that's really cool.
I want to try that out.
How much do I compensate, you know?
Like, obviously, I don't want to fill my classes here.
Yeah.
You know?
Like, I want that degree that I'm paying for.
And then at the same time, like, if I'm not doing something I love, then, like, why are we here?
Like, yeah.
Oh, man.
I just want to make music videos.
This could be an art too.
It may just need to be open-minded.
Yeah.
Like, I need to produce something that is of, you know, that much different for the people who use that for a particular change.
I mean, it's pretty hard, especially not only music video being considered art, but even, like, being, like, having hip-hop considered art.
But, you know, a lot of people just listen to it and say, this is trash.
This is not even music.
They wouldn't even consider it music, let alone art.
There's so many people out there, though, like...
Yeah, like, it's not like anyone can just do it, you know?
Y'all people just hate it, man.
They're sweating too hard, though.
Oh, no!
It's...Gian?
Oh, damn it!
Yeah, that's...
Now, we really don't know where it's gonna go.
And, you know, being lost is, like, crazy feeling.
Especially if...
I've been lost, bro.
You know, especially if it's not, like, you're actually lost in, like, a space, like, you know, when you get lost in the grocery store, when you're young.
Yeah.
But, like, being lost...
Mentally.
Mentally, spiritually, you know?
Yeah, like...
Just, like, you just feel...
That, like, scares me.
Yeah.
