Watch out. I am warning you. Watch out. Watch out. Please watch out.
My name is Félix Labande. I have been performing since 1999 or 2000.
Since then, music has changed. But good music remains good music.
And I am rather stuck on good music.
I am attracted by an interesting aspect of music.
Emotions, beautiful things, things like that.
That's what I focus on.
I don't play so much on stage. I am rather a producer.
But I play in electronic music.
Music is made of emotional elements. Peace, dance, things like that.
Dance tracks don't make me that old.
I like music that's a little bit more about your head than...
I prefer to compose and listen to this music.
I am involved in film and things like that.
I am also asked for films and things like that.
Sometimes, I use samples, album extracts, like your Italian Bizarre or others,
whatever their origin.
Recently, I have been involved a lot in samples from history, from wars.
Since then, I have been very interested in the historical extracts
about wars, things like that, people who have you, their crimes,
like for example the Germans who wanted to kill the Jews in Russia.
Things like that.
For me, it's interesting, I use their voice.
I am from South Africa, which is, you know, apartheid.
I come from South Africa, where it was apartheid,
but apart from that, it is very vulnerable in the United States or Europe.
I am very involved in questions like who we are,
as colonialists, and where we are in the world,
and those who are new, the refugee crisis in Europe.
That's really what interests me.
Thank you very much.
Yeah, I've been involved when I was young, I did fine art.
And things like that, we would cut, and we would write to them.
You know, a lot of people from the local politics,
we try to go there and not ask ourselves if it's politically correct
before saying anything.
I can use a lot of political elements from the local government
to use it with music and motifs.
It's not so common.
I just think the states of the world, it's kind of sad.
I don't know what...
I just think the world is in a sad state.
I don't know what music means anymore.
I hope it always leads to art and love.
This world we live in now, where people are destroying whole cities, you know?
This world where we live, where we destroy cities, culture.
For me, it's sad, but what can we do?
It's life.
Of course, I try, because I grew up in apartheid.
The one thing that meant to me was music.
I tried to keep up with it, to try to be happy.
I try to continue this path.
But you see, we live in an extreme world like religion.
I suppose it's always been that way.
In any case, I hope that art, love, poetry, all of this will take over.
I hope that art, love, poetry, all of this will take over.
I hope that art, love, poetry, all of this will take over.
I hope that art, love, poetry, all of this will take over.
I hope that art, love, poetry, all of this will take over.
I hope that art, love, poetry, all of this will take over.
I hope that art, love, poetry, all of this will take over.
I hope that art, love, poetry, all of this will take over.
I hope that art, love, poetry, all of this will take over.
I hope that art, love, poetry, all of this will take over.
