Hello everyone out there this is Mike for Shreddon magazine Shreddon Mac.com plugin
in and we caught up here with Pirate River and RTQ rider Kala Olsen from Sweden.
Kala nice having you. Thank you. It's nice to be here. It's a nice day to hang out with.
How are you? Just fine. I flew in from Sweden yesterday and just met up with Nils here working
for RTQ and we're supposed to go to Wangle Tangle tomorrow actually. Awesome. I've been out here
doing a little talking with you and watching out the city. Cool, cool. Let's talk a bit about the
pirates. You've been filming out for the pirates like five years quite a time and last year you got
even the opener part for actually quite a special movie of them which was actually the 10th anniversary
movie. How sick is that? Super stoked on that because I mean every year I've been fighting to get
a good video part and it's I mean it's been okay a few years it's been bad a few years but everything
kind of melted together last year and I think we shoot a video part it's you kind of get
better and better at like you get smarter and smarter because like you realize what you're
what you're good at and what other people are good at what people are stoked on or how to mix it
how to travel like when to go for rails or when to you know like when to save yourself or when to
go for it but the more you shoot the smarter you shoot your video part so I guess kind of figured
out my way. So do you try to get when going out to shoot your part to get the part more like the
way you want it to be or also like trying to find the the midway so they're also like okay I'm
having with that but that's definitely what the people want to see. I think mostly how I want it
to be. Okay fair enough. I mean I like when I watch a video part I like like it to be diverse
like I like to have rails backcountry park maybe a little bit but like a lot of creative stuff a
lot of banger normal tricks you know like switch up a little bit of everything okay I mean I don't
really like to watch a part full on rail tricks just way so as well or just backcountry backcountry
or just lines or just a park yeah you know I mean I want to watch a little bit of everything
so I kind of want my part to be the same it's hard sometimes I mean it's hard to get the backcountry
mixed with the street rails depending on what the winter is you know I mean in the end the goal is to mix it up.
you see the mic in my hand now walk me back it now what is the body if the through
