I dream of being a artist.
I want to be a professional.
Do you want to work at a park in England?
I would like to be a musician.
I would like to be a great doctor.
Do you want to be a guitarist?
I love to speak English.
I dream of becoming a DJ.
I want to be a writer.
I want to be a writer.
To be a perfectionist in the field.
That is what strengthens me.
To be a professional...
...in BMX.
To be a barista.
To be a hitman.
I think it's my idea to be happy.
To be happy.
Do you want to be a musician?
I want to be a comedian.
The reality of what the Chilean Society of Youth is, is like a bit paternalist, in a way.
It's an image that is always left as a problem.
For example, I can give you the example of the student movement.
I think what decanted in a certain way was that there was no possibility in the youth
that they were supposedly a bit asleep, they weren't even there with certain social and political themes.
And the movement that left it clear was that there were people and young people who were very aware,
young people who really wanted change and things, and that we are in very different times,
that with today's activities it is required and it is seen with the young people's eyes.
And that is what I think is shocking with the older people, the adult people,
the one who continues to carry out public or important tasks, and with thoughts from the 20th century
and not with thoughts from the 21st century, which are the thoughts and the way of relationships that young people have today.
In a way, young people every day are more demanded from adults
so that many times they do what they are expected to do.
In short, they listen and recognize what their abilities, their potential, their talents are.
What society should not be for any reason is to limit yourself to your horizons
and above all to say that you cannot do something if you have not even been able to try.
The region does not have all the alternatives, let's say, to retain it and give young people the interest.
The idea that hopefully they could leave but they could also return and they could contribute here.
To build a society that is pleasant.
Young people mean future, they mean flexibility in thinking, they mean projects, they mean dreams.
Society should help you, it should help you.
I hope I can do my practice because as I left a school, what is the technique?
I hope to do my practice this year, in March, to work and be able to pay for a university
because as a salary is good at home,
I have to do it in March, I have to work and be able to pay for a university
because as a salary is good at home, I have to do it in March, I have to do it in March,
I have to work to be able to study in a pre-university and be able to give the PSU
and I plan to enter the university in 2013.
I was going to work but it is so difficult to find glue with 17.
We went to the National Convention of Circus in October,
we went to Santiago and we liked the idea.
So we wanted to bring what is in Santiago to Punta Arenas
and we are reviewing a convention of Circus in Punta Arenas.
The convention at the beginning was difficult to organize,
we didn't know where we were going to get all the artists or all the sponsors
and a friend from Santiago was in charge of bringing all the artists
and little by little we were getting all the sponsors.
I am currently a fan in the super market.
My dream is to take a career in the university,
to have a house and to keep my family.
I want to study at the University of Pedagogy and Music in history
and if I can't do that, I have to finish the course.
I think that if I make enough effort I can get to the university.
I think that if I study at Pedagogy and Music,
I think that I can go out and make workshops,
teach music that I like.
I would like everyone to take advantage of that,
to study at Pedagogy and History,
I don't know what kind of way I could do it.
I would like to be a teacher of art,
with both music and plastic arts.
Because I think that I have a lot of fields in everything
and I like it a lot, and to be happy doing that.
Because it is still weird that someone wants to dedicate himself to the arts.
Because I have also fought with my family in general,
not with my mother.
With my family in general who tells you,
today, but if you are intelligent,
I am an engineer, you are going to do well,
you are going to earn money, you are going to be successful in that.
But I tell them that I prefer to be happy
and die without money than being successful
and having money to go to heaven without being happy.
The goals that you can achieve here are so small
and the country is so diverse,
that with a title that is here,
you are not going to do anything in your life.
It is also a shame,
because there are families who do not have the monetary resources
to be able to leave the region.
So I came to think and say,
maybe I have, I do not know the resources,
but there are people who do not.
There is also Beka and all those things,
but they are so inaccessible,
that I do not know, they are almost unreachable
for a average person who had five, all the average.
Well, success in general is the goals that one wants to achieve,
but the biggest goal for me is to study what I like the most
and be happy doing what I do.
It does not matter what happens later,
or if I do not have enough money to survive,
there will always be an opportunity to open more doors
and in some part you are going to do something,
if you do not have anything, you will not be able to leave.
In this case, what would be the success for you?
Being a journalist in the field of professional dialogue
and having a show or working in a world-renowned circus,
I do not conform to the traditional Chilean circus,
but I think that by forcing myself and working and studying,
I can do something since I do not like taking university credits.
I think it is a debt that will always be there,
it will never leave, it is something great,
it will take years to pay all that,
I prefer to force myself at the moment and go building slowly,
then I will start a career.
My family is my mother, we are seeing the two of us alone,
and she supports me, she has always supported me and always supports me,
so in the family plan I am fine, you know?
I am going to have two daughters, one son and one daughter,
and I do not know if I can finish the high school or work.
I think that if I leave the high school, I could work,
but I do not want to leave the high school either.
If I go back to the high school, I will have to work the people a week,
and I will not earn much, I will not be able to have the two children.
I think I have to work somewhere else where I earn more,
because here I do not earn much to keep the two daughters.
I have a daughter called Amanda,
and a son that we do not know yet how to call,
I will have to keep him, so I can not give up,
but he has to go alone to make the decisions.
My family has always supported me, that is, the maternal part,
so if I want to go, they will support me.
Most people around me do the same as me,
and they dedicate themselves to the same thing as me.
So my friends like art too,
so in one way or another, we will all end up studying in the North.
I also have friends who did not want to study.
They had tremendous licenses or things,
or they had super good grades,
but the family thinks that, for example, in music,
I have a friend whose mother told her
that she did not want it to be a simple music.
And maybe music is super difficult to study,
it is almost another language.
So maybe the family thinks that one is almost, I do not know, nothing.
In the TV they talk to you and they tell you
about the youth of drug addiction,
I do not know, they have relationships,
there is a pregnant woman, a teenager,
but they always attach to the youth of guilt,
they never look at how that youth was created
and where it comes from and what is behind it.
All my friends who I have always been linked to the circus,
and those who are not,
they have always had some approach to it.
Does your family support you in what you want to study?
I do not know if they give me a lot of support,
because they are a traditionalist.
And well, I have not been approached to speak formally to them.
I have only read ideas and I have never shown them the real art
or what the circus means in the life of a person
and everything that can give you.
And I do not know, one can live from that,
depending on the conditions that you are in.
You can be a very famous artist
and if they are worried about my stability,
I know that I can have it and give my luxuries.
Because when you are a boy, you have to be successful in life.
Your parents raise you saying that you have to be successful
and that you have to learn to speak until you leave the room
or get good grades or behave well.
Because since childhood they raised us in squares
in which the world was beautiful and that the bubble was there
and that we were going to live there and that we were going to be professionals
and we were going to find work at the shooting and the new issue.
I did not want to do anything.
I wanted to leave the high school
and work to buy me a play,
to... I do not know...
I did not care about anything.
Now, the last thing I do is...
I have to get rid of the batteries.
I can not do anything.
For my son.
If it were for my son, I would not be working.
I would be sleeping until three in the afternoon.
Or I do not know...
No dinner?
No dinner?
No dinner?
No dinner?
No dinner?
No dinner?
No dinner?
No dinner?
No dinner?
