This year's Thought for Food Global Challenge saw nearly 500 teams of passionate students from over 100 countries together there shaping game changing solutions for feeding our planet.
It's really about diving deep into the issues surrounding food security.
We're going to break into workshops like open data, growing innovation, vertical farming, all kinds of new frontiers in this space.
What we have in this room today is one large community.
This is one of the coolest venues I've ever had the opportunity to share our story at.
And we hope you have the time of your life.
Debating, reflecting, discovering.
A mistake is only a mistake if you don't learn something from it.
This is a remarkable moment in human history.
Asking why?
Just because something is doesn't mean it necessarily ought to be.
What if?
What we're talking about is making consistent commitments to what we could call the nine dimensions of our common future.
And why not?
Never think you are too young to change the world.
It's amazing to be able to have this talent pipeline of incredible students from around the world and then be able to connect them to industry and corporate to really make the types of changes and bring in fresh perspectives that we want to see.
I just believe this is one of the programs that actually has a return on investment.
There are so many inspirational people, high impact people here.
We build the bridge between the ideas of the next generation and the companies looking to be prosperous and viable in the next generation to hopefully build a better food system for everyone.
At Spacecraft Earth, there are no passengers. We are old crew.
The first step of designing that mission is to uproot your assumptions.

There's a huge potential for young biotech entrepreneurs to do good in the world.
There's a responsibility for everyone of saying let's go do something together.

When we tested for the cycle, these guys really realized the need and the value of this product.
Recording food then is not only possible, it's already happened. Thank you.
