Hi, Jamie Yenda from Luxurious Magazine, and we're here in Aruba to sample the very best
in luxury lifestyle. While we'll be here on this one happy island, we'll be certainly
seeing the very best in fine dining, entertainment, nightlife, and of course, the Caribbean Sea
Jazz Festival 2016. The Aruba Marriott Resort in Solaris Casino is phenomenal. We have
411 rooms, two pools, we have restaurants, two of them basically indoors. We have Artardi,
which is right on the ocean, beautiful sunset dining. If you're a diver, that's a beautiful
experience as well. There's some great rec dives, so it's a really cool place to really
have that perfect tropical holiday that people dream of.
You get two destinations in one. You've got one half of the island, which is more rugged.
And then you've got the other side of the island, where you've got the white pristine
beaches. I would like to also highlight the fact that we have great shopping here on Aruba.
Many luxurious brands are present. We're a Dutch island, so we've got the European side
of ours, and at the same time, we've got that Caribbean flavor of being a bit laid back.
I think we've got the best of all.
When we opened White Modern Cuisine, we wanted to bring something refreshing and new to the
island. My ethnic is half Asian, half Caribbean, so we tried to give that also on the menu.
If you want to experience an Aruba dish, we have a dish called Lamsaku. It's very Caribbean,
very Aruba. We want you to come at White and have fun. Enjoy your food, enjoy your cocktails,
enjoy your evening, your date out, and have fun. That's our goal here at White.
The nice thing about the Sea Jazz Festival, it's right on the waterfront, so if you've
got the water right there, you've got great weather under the stars.
We're celebrating over 50 years now. A high energy show, that's what we do. A lot of hits
from the 70s, Hollywood Swing and Jungle Boogie. And then the 80s, get down on it. And of course,
the Jungle Boys. This is the 10th year. I've performed here the first year. I've performed
at least five years here. Then all the people get to see amazing arts in the island. It's
beyond just the beautiful beaches and the nice people and the great food. It's also the music,
the culture is very vibrant here. We've had a wonderful stay here in Aruba. And this
destination certainly doesn't disappoint. It's pristine beaches, turquoise waters, fine
dining options, and breathtaking landscapes. So whether you're a solo traveller, a couple,
or a family looking for that premium travel destination, then this one happy island certainly
has something for everyone.
