My name is Maria, and I'm a pet photographer.
We're going to have some portraits taken of my friend PK.
Okay.
I'm excited, but I'm also a little nervous because he could be a little crazy.
He's not a trained beast.
I think he will be a good model.
Once I set up, he'll be curious and he'll come out.
What are some of the strangest portraits you've done with him?
You get that question a lot, and I don't really think I've had a strange animal fit.
Craziest is like a pig, a ferret, but I don't really see them as crazy.
Yeah, I haven't really done anything wild, just domesticated pets.
I think Nacho would be harder because he's harder to get in the position that you want,
I think, but to stay still, he tends to run away.
Good boy.
Do you want me to put on a bow tie?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
This one's really got pop.
I didn't even realize your cat had a wardrobe.
Antlers? PK loves the antlers.
Those antlers are good.
Okay, lay down. Be a good boy.
He's a little bit fixed.
I prefer that they sit up so that they, ooh, like, directly into the camera.
Nacho's a little more challenging.
Trying to get Nacho to stay put.
He's doing a good job so far.
There we go.
Earlier today, we shot PK and Nacho.
Shoot number two, we are at Golden Saddle in Silver Lake.
Are you modeling today?
Yeah.
She's modeling it.
That's not going to give her a treat, she'll be fine.
That looks better.
Good girl, Yeti.
Do you want a treat?
Oh, that's a good girl, Yeti.
You want a treat?
In this case, Campy is very easy.
He has proof of it.
I have no Campy.
He's actually not very interested in me.
Today, I'm holding treats and helping anything I say.
Sit, Campy.
Good boy, Campy.
He's panting now, so he looks like he's smiling.
All right, that's a wrap with Campy.
You can come down.
I'll give you a treat.
You're done.
All right, now I'm going to try to get them both on there.
Stay.
Getting animals together is the biggest challenge.
But they seem pretty calm, so let's see how this goes.
Come here.
You're a good girl.
You're a good boy.
All right, let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
