You've got a solid 75 years on this earth, and my question to everyone is, if you're
30, are you proud of the last 30 years, and if you're not, then start changing that.
Say yes to more things, do more, say yes.
Start doing what you love every day, and stop worrying about what other people might think
or might do.
My name is Adam, and I live in a boss.
This is my journey to do whatever it is that makes me happy.
This is The Pursuit.
For years and years and years, it's odd, but I've said I'm just going to buy a school
bus.
I kept telling my buddies, dude, I'm going to buy a bus, I'm going to buy a bus.
They laughed at me.
One day I just sent them all a group message of the bus.
Last year I built a bus, not as much as I built this one, and it completely rotted out,
so I spent all winter in it, spent over a hundred nights in it, so I found this bus,
put some time and money into it, and got myself rolling again before winning.
My friends have been calling it the Nipple, new and improved Pursuit Limited Edition,
so hopefully this is the last one I have to build for quite some time, but yeah, it's
definitely got some upgrades and things that I learned from the last bus to carry over
and make it more sustainable for this bus.
I graduated college and I had a nine to five, and I wasn't super happy doing it, and I felt
like I had to do it, and that something in me was just saying, keep going to this work,
and it's not what I wanted to do, so one day I woke up and said, this isn't for me anymore,
so I changed it and I started chasing my photography dream.
The bus was just an outlet for that.
It was allowing me to travel and explore and meet random people and shake people's hands
who I never thought I'd meet, and people just being inspired by such an odd object like
a bus.
But it's this group of people who all share the same passion, so the pursuit is about
that passion.
It's about chasing whatever it is that you love and getting after it, whether it be
for skiing or base jumping or the love of basketball or rollerblading.
I think that's what life is, and I think it's extremely lost these days, just people following
their passions and following your dreams because they're scared and they think that growing
up and growing old means giving up on those things.
I go to the local bar once in a while, and people tell me that they wish they could do
what I do.
Well, the reality is, it's a school bus and I'm living in it, and I'm border wide homeless.
You can do it, anything, whether it be getting a promotion at your job or quitting that job
that you hate, and going and being a surf instructor, you can do it, and I hope that
inspires you to do it and to make change in your lives for the better and make the best
out of it.
Well, that's it for now.
Thanks for checking us out.
We hope you continue to follow our journey as we continue to document and travel all
over these coasts and show you what we do.
