Hi, I'm Boyk. The day I wandered out of the monster world through the closet door, I began to explore a wonderful new world.
Your world, the world of humans. Here I can learn all kinds of new things, meet new friends, share silly jokes, and follow my dream of having my own show.
Welcome to the Boyk Show! Hi everybody, I'm your host, Boyk, and this is my co-host, oh wait, you're not my co-host.
This is my co-host over here, Caitlin, and welcome to our new show. In fact, we've got a new set here for you.
This is a new set, and it's pink, kind of, with gold on it. You guys like our set?
Yeah. Is it pretty cool? This new one? I really love it. Well, this one is portable, so we can actually take it to birthday parties and all kinds of cool stuff like that.
Isn't that going to be neat, Caitlin? Yeah. Yeah, I love it. Okay, well, introduce us to our guest. She's been on the show before though. Tell us her name and all that stuff, Caitlin.
Emily. Emily? You give us a little more introduction than that. Who is she? Just Emily from the street?
No. She's your cousin, and she brought a couple of monsters with her, didn't she? They've got fangs and big ears like me, but they're not blue.
So what are they? Emily, welcome. Welcome, Emily. You're not very talkative, are you? When I say welcome, you could say, oh, hi, it's great to be here, Boyk.
Hi. Hi. Well, tell us a little bit about your dogs. They're not monsters, actually, right? No, they're not. They're dogs. I don't think we've had a dog on the show yet.
And now we have two of them. Isn't that cool? Tell us about your dogs. What are their names and what do they do? Okay, so the one that I'm holding, her name is Mojo.
Mojo, I love that. She's a miniature pincher. Okay, cool. And she's nine years old. Well, nine years old, that's pretty old for a dog, isn't it? Yeah.
Cool. She's a little older dog, and this one's really young, the one that Caitlin's holding, right? What's her name? Her name is Riley.
Oh, hi, Riley. And she's about four and a half months old. Oh, four and a half months old? Oh, she's so tiny, is she going to get out? She's a bit me. No biting. I knew that she was a monster. I knew it.
Okay, Riley. So she's four and a half months old. How big will she get? Any bigger? She might get a little bigger, but not much. And she's a Chowini, so a Chihuahua and Wiener dog mix.
Chihuahua and a Wiener dog. That kind of sounds funny, but she's the cutest thing ever. She's cute. Ah, jeez. She doesn't like me.
Okay, well, anyways, I think it's time for our word of the day. Ready? One, two, three. Word of the day!
Okay, our word of the day today is something that dogs know a lot about, and you probably know a lot about Emily. It's called loyalty. What's loyalty? Can you define it?
Me? Yeah, what's loyalty? You've heard of that word before. What does it mean? Well, loyalty means sticking by your side and always being there for you and not going behind your back.
Yeah, dogs are really loyal, aren't they? Aren't they, Caitlin? Yeah. Loyalty is faithful to one's oath or commitments or obligations, or just faithful to one's friends even. Dogs are really loyal.
All right. Well, good. I'm glad we learned something today about dogs and loyalty. What else can they do? Any tricks or anything? Can you tell me? Do they help around the house with chores? Do they lick your face?
Yeah, they do. Do they lick their butt? Yeah. Do they lick your face again? Yeah. Oh, that's disgusting! Oh, that's really gross.
Okay, well, that's all part of being a dog owner, isn't it? Are you guys ready for the joke of the day? Yeah! Okay, ready? One, two, three. Joke of the Day!
Well, what do you get when you cross a dog and a calculator? What? Well, you get a friend you can count on. Get it? Can I count on you, Riley? Let me see. Let me, Riley. You're so cute. Come here, Riley.
There's no loyalty there. I've got to spend a little more time. How about Mojo? Yeah, Mojo's awesome. Okay, everybody say bye. Thanks, Emily, for bringing your dogs on the show. See you with best friends already. I love it. Love you, Mojo.
Everybody say bye! Bye!
