Do
at school. I drew a lot growing up and then I did art in year seven, two years
twelve. I'm definitely proud of the painting once I've finished it and it's
never what I thought it would be like. I always have a picture in my head and I
don't really sketch it onto the canvas, I just kind of go for it. Just mix up all
the paints and see what comes out. It's more than mistakes. I keep the ones I
like and then I just paint all the ones I don't. At the end it's not what I
pictured it to be but it's almost better and then I take what I learned from
that painting and put it on the next one. So this year when I arrived in Canada I've
really knuckled down and painted out a bunch of ideas that I have listed in my
head and just sort of ticking them off and I've still got another list to do
when I get back home to Australia. I'm on my way to Bolivia next. I can't wait to
see what inspires me down there actually. It's just gonna be so different all the
colours and the people and the food and the jungle and landscape. It's gonna be
really different so I'm excited to see what what ideas I come up with.
Painting to me there's just something about it. It just gets my blood pumping.
