What I try to do is to capture the, uh, uh, quite as well as, uh, oh, good, I see it.
I got lots of pictures of guys selling their hats.
And so I try to capture the story.
There was a young couple that came here this morning.
I don't know how long they've been here.
A young couple probably in their late 20s or something.
Lots of bags.
So they're travelers.
And it looked like they were hitchhikers.
And they were very much in love.
You can tell that.
It's the way their body action and how closely they were.
And, uh, he had gone off to buy some breakfast or something.
He came back and he had the flour for her.
And, uh, gave her the flour and kissed her.
It was a real, tender thing.
So it's that kind of, the balloon guys out here and, uh, trying to make a living in other stories.
And I watch them as they, as they become darker and darker from suntanning, you know.
So what I will do is, uh, shoot these guys.
And the other one is the conchina.
The conchina.
Ladies, if that's pronounced correct.
The ones that sell all the dolls.
It was like a dog.
It was a little sharp.
Very wise.
I live in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
Oh, it's San Miguel de Allende all about.
I'm not really sure.
It's about, it's about certainly people.
For one thing, it's, it's, it's the whole environment.
It's a colonial city that goes back several hundred years and the history is so rich.
And, uh, it's retained that colonialism or the look of the colonialism.
So it's cobblestone streets and buildings that go back two hundred.
And this area that we're sitting in right now called the Hardines,
spelled with a J, because the J's are silent.
Uh, it's 300 years old.
This, this church.
What is this?
Every day, every day is a holiday.
Every day is something different.
It's magic.
So, if you've got a wide angle on it, that's, I'm going to put on my lens now.
Here's the background of the church going.
It's a wonderful environment.
Sunday morning, church, food being served out on the peddler and non-selling souvenirs.
And the commitment, the dedication, the love of God, the religion of God.
All brought to us compliments of the Spanish Inquisition.
Here we shoot something on, uh, that's the color of, uh, Mexico here.
I like ideas that, that repeat themselves.
The repetition of ideas, like, from that building.
Um, if I flip down the lines of this table, I saw this one day and I was like,
yeah, that's really nice.
So what I'm going to do is try to shoot, uh, with this music.
So shooting this at about half eight at about 800.
I'm going to try to steady myself.
That's kind of a nice voice.
I don't know if I have any wise words of wisdom other than, uh,
What have you learned in your, uh,
You got to do what you want to do.
You got, you got to lead your life with passion.
And, and you follow that road of passion.
Uh, because it all goes by too quick.
It was just yesterday, I was 22 and now I am, well, I am.
And it's not no longer 22, but I've always felt that I wanted to,
Well, I always chased my dreams and I had succeeded because I worked hard at doing it.
Just like the newspaper man over here, the guy selling the balloons.
You work hard and, and, uh, you get rewards from that in many different ways.
So my only words of wisdom is chase your dreams and define your passions.
That's what I'm going to do.
