I'm having an amazing time on this trip.
Seeing all the sights, it was a really nice experience.
And to see all of that was really cool.
It was really an awesome experience.
All my expectations have been met and it's been exciting the whole time.
It's pretty cool to see all the different things you've heard about since you were
a little kid like the Eiffel Tower.
Oh, I'm having an excellent time.
This is one of the best experiences that I've had.
Our world is vast, diverse, and holds many surprises and lessons for those who have the
opportunity to go out and explore.
The Cultural Heritage Alliance, or CHA, was founded in 1969.
For nearly half a century, CHA has become a leader in educational tours, helping over
one million teachers and students broaden their horizons safely and affordably through
the experience of travel.
I can see the passion in their eyes when they learn.
It's a fantastic feeling as educators.
Our biggest role, I think, is to continue to learn.
And through travel, traveling with your students, you are able to go back refreshed and invigorated
for the following year.
Students get a great deal from CHA tours in that they're able to see at first hand what
they've studied in the classroom and experience other cultures, and sometimes the fun thing
that they get or the greatest benefit is to realize really how similar we all are as opposed
to how different.
Well, CHA enhances my role as a teacher, as an educator, because travel is probably the
best type of education you can afford anyone.
Many companies offer tour packages.
What sets CHA apart is our decades-long focus on educational travel.
In fact, CHA is the oldest, most experienced educational travel company in the U.S. today.
CHA stands for Cultural Heritage Alliance, and we were founded back in 1969 by two foreign
language teachers who wanted to inspire and educate their students in a different way.
My husband and I started this company as former teachers because we wanted to introduce our
students to the beauty of travel, to bring to life what we were teaching in the classroom.
We were teaching languages, and of course with language there's history, there's architecture,
there's customs.
So we felt what better way than to bring the students to Europe to see where history was
actually made.
Our mission here at CHA is to open the eyes of America's students to the wonders of the
world, to look beyond just the walls of the classroom, to teach them about their own cultural
heritage in a different way by exploring the world.
CHA's experience in educational travel is exemplified by our dedicated worldwide staff.
Our mission has always been since the very beginning to provide the best value in educational
travel.
High quality tour services, as well as affordable prices.
And that's really what continues to set CHA apart, that we provide the best of both worlds.
I looked at a lot of different companies and CHA includes everything.
They include the flights, great meals, great hotels, all of my museum entrances.
So I chose them because they were definitely the best of all the companies that I looked
at, a lot of flexibility and a good price.
The nice thing is that they're able to go see sites that many people never get to see
and they have the opportunity.
They price it so well that they can and because of that they bring a lot of the fun and it
just brings history alive.
Being a tour director is a very nice job.
A lot of people come here to see the beauties of our continent and we are very happy to
show them.
I've been doing this for about 22 years.
This is my seventh Indian with CHA.
I'm very happy to show the beauty of my country because I can see in the eyes of our clients
that they're very, very happy and there's always a lot to learn.
For me really the favourite part of my role as a tour director is the enthusiasm, sharing
in the enthusiasm of the students for travel and also getting to know these very different
groups from the United States and hopefully encouraging them to travel more again once
they've left school and during their adult years.
My favourite part of the tour so far is probably Stonehenge because it was so cool to see the
big stones and it was made so long ago.
This is my first time travelling overseas and I'm really enjoying it.
There's just a lot more to do than what's shown on TV and what's shown in brochures
and stuff.
My favourite part would have to be Venice.
I loved everything about it, all the shops and the way the town was set out.
It was just perfect for me.
I want to live there.
I came to this trip because a lot of my friends were coming and I thought it would be fun
to just kind of get away from our hometown and experience different things together and
so far now it's paid off.
