that this is where we want to be and that's very interesting because that's one of the major concerns leaving aside the whole immigration issue of people who want to leave is that democracy is being undermined and that essentially we're entering into a United States of Europe.
There are absolutely these are very good points, these are the points which have been put on the table. It is extremely important that the progress to this European project does not interfere.
It does not interfere with normal democratic procedures, that's very important so to that extent I'd like to see far more parliamentary scrutiny of EU legislation.
On the immigration front I'd like to see EU-wide measures taken to deal with the movement of people across frontiers, I'd like to see for example a reform of the EU's freedom of movement rules.
So you're very positive, which is good.
I am very positive, it's been a wonderful campaign, I think obviously I would say so.
Do you feel the British public have been sufficiently informed and there's been enough reason to debate rather than emotive and dramatic?
Yes I think they've been completely well informed, I cannot remember a time when they've been better informed.
I think each side has gone out of its way to put the facts before the British public and I think we can rely on the British public to make the right decision.
That's very interesting, thank you very much for talking to me.
Thank you very much.
