We are gathered today in God's presence to see Nick Zanzano and Charlotte
Maxirelli join together in marriage. This is a sacred moment for them and for
the rest of us as we see this marriage covenant ordained by God. Heavenly
Father, we thank you for your faithfulness. We ask that you would bless
this day and bless their new life together as they transition from being
two and become one. We recognize that you have invented the institution of
marriage and thus it is good. We recognize that marriage is meant to
include your supernatural love, faithfulness, and grace. We believe this
marriage can be successful if they include you and actually build their
marriage on you. You are the rock and nothing can separate them from one
another if they abide in you. Help them, counsel them, sustain them, provide for
them, and unify them in your powerful spirit. We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Who gives this woman to be married to this man? Charlotte's mother and I do. Do you,
Nick, take Charlotte to be your beloved wife? He said I do. Do you, Charlotte, take
Nick to be your beloved husband? I do. I, Nick, take you, Charlotte, to be my
wife. From this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, or poorer,
in sickness and in health, to love and treasure, till death causes us to part.
According to God's holy marriage covenant, I pledge my faithfulness to you.
So help me, God. Charlotte, your turn. I, Charlotte, take you, Nick, to be my
husband. From this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, or poorer,
in sickness and in health, to love and treasure, till death causes us to part.
According to God's holy marriage covenant, I pledge my faithfulness to
you. So help me, God. Receive and wear this ring as a symbol of my love,
faithfulness, and grace for you. Receive and wear this ring as a symbol of my love,
faithfulness, and grace for you. By the authority given to me by God, by a
new Christian fellowship, and by the state of Oregon, I now pronounce you husband
and wife. And I would say kiss the bride, but they elected for their first act to
be communion as a husband and a wife. So this is the part that you have, I'm sure,
part of you, at least, has been really looking forward to you. So you may now
kiss your bride.
Ladies and gentlemen, I now present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Zanzano.
Thank you. You make Nicholas a better person. Yeah, we are so happy to have you
in our family. Welcome. I have a verse here. He who finds a wife finds a good
thing and obtains favor from the Lord. So this day you have found favor in the
Lord. Find joy in each other, even during times of tears, and may you always find
the beauty in each other's wrinkles.
When they first embraced each other, they were just, you could just see it. I mean,
look at them right now. Look at them right now. You know, you got these smiles going.
They're just radiating right now. I see that you will take care of her, and that
you will cherish her and protect her through this life and love her unconditionally.
And I want to thank you for that, because I don't think I would trust anyone else
but my friends, darling. You all know that I've been a cranky big sister about
just letting you go and welcoming someone new into our family. But there's nobody
better for her than you, Nick. And thank you so much for being the man that you are
to her. And I just can't wait to see how both the good and the bad continue to
shape you as you grow as one unit together for the rest of your lives. And I love
people very, very much. You know, you're going to take good care of each other to
all the good that God has done in our lives and for this beautiful, beautiful
couple. Amen.
I love you.
You
