It's very rewarding to get to work with a lot of guys that you really enjoy working
with and you get to do a lot of things that you wouldn't get to normally do in
other jobs. There's a lot of change to it. Do something different every day. It's a lot of fun.
It's a good lot of work. I was always going to need it. Somebody's got to do it. I thought that'd be good.
I love my job. I couldn't imagine myself doing anything else. I try to force myself every shift
and every tour and every day of my life to make sure that my crew has what they need to go home
every shift and that's where I get reward out of as well as helping people because it's not a
better fit. I can go home at night knowing that me and my crew have done you know everything in
our hands to figure out whichever situation we're given. That feels great. I mean you're
helping people. You're making a difference in the community. You feel like you're really here
for a reason and doing good things. I really enjoy it. It definitely makes me feel good. Thank my
family. I've been real supportive. Thank my parents. Thank the guys here at District 7 for
welcoming me on this department. Give me a start. Good feeling. Good feeling for sure.
It's probably the first job that I've felt fulfilled doing. You know you can go wake up
and go do a job and put in your 12 hours and earn a paycheck where you can go and do something
that you're passionate about and see your work directly, directly influence somebody's life for
the good. That's a great feeling. Not everybody has the opportunity to do it. It's not for everybody.
I just think it's a great opportunity and I love you. It's the greatest feeling I've ever had.
It's really amazing being here. I'm here to make a difference. I'm here to get a lot of experience
and help people out. Every one of the departments really really pushed me and keeps driving me
to get better every time I'm coming to work and I'm really grateful for everyone I work for. My
family, I'm grateful for them for helping me through all the things I've been through and I'm really
grateful for all these people.
Thank you.
