Hi
The first contact with Shaper was in Sefhaus, where I started learning as a ski and snowboard.
At first, we really saw that you can earn money by building a park like this.
We thought it was totally fine, it's exactly the same, and that's how we started this year.
This year at Feldberg, I have a completely different park designer with my own Shaper.
And it's super nice.
To be honest, I came to Shaper by riding into a closed park,
and we had a conversation at the Lanzerheide.
I met Ralf there, who also worked for Q-Parks.
I asked him where he was coming from, and then I got to know him.
And he told me that I was going to Shaper.
Yes, I spent many years at the Bayhub, many stations.
Then I started to Shaper at the Dachstein.
At the Dachstein, I started to ride a bike as a park designer.
Yes, meanwhile, I started to be up there with the Flo Park.
I started as a normal Shaper about 3 or 2.5 years ago.
Then I actually met my son as a normal Shaper.
The son on top of the headshaper.
And today he's just a park designer.
Every day is different.
Weather, snow conditions, new snow.
My job is to plan the park,
to plan the obstacles, to plan the lines, to measure everything,
and to implement it with a bully rider.
When the bully work is done, the Shape Crew comes
and does almost the finish.
Unscrew, and hand-shapes the jump-shapes.
It was very important to me that I just continue my job
and that there are opportunities to improve.
It's always something new to learn.
First with the computer and the shovel.
Then you have a little more details and management.
Then you design the park yourself, which is of course extremely cool.
When you can use your own ideas and ride a bike,
that's what I personally like.
Last year, I said to the headshaper,
I want to be a park designer in Meyerhofen.
The more you deal with individual things,
the more you think, you can improve, you can improve.
But as long as the end product is qualitatively high-quality,
I think you can be satisfied.
I think it's definitely interesting to ride a Cube Park.
You have good opportunity to get on.
I think I wouldn't be so fast in such a big park like Meyerhofen
if I never came from the Shaper in Pistenbulli.
I don't think Europe is as easy as it might be in the States.
I would definitely recommend everyone to do a job like this,
because it's a really cool life experience.
