I'm Sarah, thank you very much for joining us at the premiere of Dealing with Destiny.
So this is the premiere of Dealing with Destiny and I hear that all the proceeds this evening
are going to Variety.
Not just this evening, but for the whole cinematic release, all the proceeds are being donated
and we're very happy about that and there's also a couple of raffles and an online auction
as well.
How exciting.
So they go throughout the screening of Dealing with Destiny?
They do and the car raffle will actually not finish till December, giving people plenty
of time to be involved and it's the 1968 Fiat 850, called Betsy, which stars in the film
so it's a fantastic prize.
There are little angels that have dropped in, also here for the children's variety charity
as well tonight.
So are you guys excited to see the film?
Yes.
And to be here this evening?
Yeah.
And were you hearing all about the process while it was happening?
Yeah.
I got to see a couple of scenes being filmed and stuff, but it was really fun.
It was really exciting, awesome.
We have Paul here this evening who is the writer and producer of Dealing with Destiny.
Are you very excited this evening for the premiere?
Very excited, yes indeed.
It's a lot of work to get to this point for sure.
What are your dreams and hopes do you think for Dealing with Destiny?
Well I just want to see as many people as possible.
It's a fun film and I'm sure people will get a few laughs.
It's really good for the teenage market as well and I think nowadays DVD and internet
is a big market for a film like this, both here and overseas.
So are you considering writing another part two?
I'd very much like to write another film but it won't be a part two.
It won't be a part two?
Completely different.
So I've got a few ideas but I'll let them take shape.
Are you excited about this evening?
I'm very excited.
Yeah it's going to be fun.
And how did you?
I haven't seen the film in a while because we finished it a while back.
Oh really?
Yeah about several months ago and so I haven't seen it in a while so it's going to be a chance
to see it again.
Again which would be great.
Exactly.
Look out for the helicopter shot at the beginning.
Okay.
Yeah we nearly crashed into the cliff.
Oh my god.
Alright you heard it here first.
There was nearly an accident on Dealing with Destiny.
Hi guys we have Damien Riley here from BluePie.
Damien and BluePie are distributing Dealing with Destiny.
So where are you going to take the film Damien?
Well we're taking it all around the world actually.
We've got it into iTunes, Amazon, Netflix.
Of course we've got some local cinemas here in Australia that are supporting it.
And we've got some great support here with Variety so we managed to get Variety involved
in the film and we're helping to really generate a lot of money for Variety.
Tonight we're at the premiere and all the proceeds from the ticket sales here goes towards
Variety and we've been able to build a really successful unique model to take out to the
world for independent films like this one.
