I'm Adrienne Vendetti and I graduated UM in 2009.
My name is Stephanie Vendetti and I graduated from UM in 2011.
Stephanie and I are sisters and we both went to University of Miami because, well one of
the reasons was because my, our dad went to the University of Miami and graduated in 1975
with a business degree and it was kind of always in our blood we feel like, right?
It was just always part of who we were.
We visited thousands, hundreds of schools and our father always said, you know, you're
going to pick the University of Miami, it's the best school there is.
To be on and I still talk, I was in a sorority, I was in Delta Phi Epsilon at UM, which was
an amazing experience and I'm so happy that I was part of such a great sorority and it
made me be really active on and off campus and in the community of Miami and I met a
few of my best friends that I still talk to this day, almost every single day.
We have such a busy lives, everyone's so busy.
They're also successful too.
Yeah and both of our friends, we have our same girlfriends that we talk to since our
first year at UM and I think that's also something that we took away from UM is the friendships
that you meet there are everlasting and I really believe that they shape you in your
four years but you never leave after you graduate and UM prepares you for your life, you still
have the girlfriends that you met in school, which is so important and I know we still
go to football games with my girlfriends and I and we still watch all the games.
We're going home coming to Sharon, November 8th.
And we watch all the games on TV if we can, the best professor I think I had at the university
is Professor Sharf and he really makes you not feel like a student and a teacher, he
really makes you just learn things that you never would think that you could learn in
a marketing class.
It's all about life lessons and just I took away so much from his class that it really
made me love and appreciate marketing and he's just such a great professor that I'm
still to this day when I work every day and I control the marketing and social media behind
Agent I's company and I still take away some of the things that he's taught me so he's
one of my favorite professors.
And I have one which I have many, I learned something from every professor I had but I
took a class with Donna Shawayla who's the president and she, I was very surprised at
how one-on-one she was with her students considering she's the president of the university and
I really learned things that I didn't know because she's been in politics for so many
years and I think that really broadened my perspective on politics and it was a wonderful,
wonderful class.
I'm really glad I took it.
I moved to Boston, was working at a law firm, I didn't feel like that was my path so I sat
down with Stephanie, she was a senior at the time at UM, right, just about being a senior?
I was, it was my last semester so yeah.
And we sat down and we did a whole plan of how we envisioned this brand and we really
got it started.
We, you know, everything kind of lined up right away and we really owe that to the University
of Miami because...
You've been doing a simple business plan.
Yeah, doing that business plan and...
Yeah and we, it took a while but we had the backbone from the UM Business School to teach
all the curriculum and what we learned in the classroom is how we got our company started.
I think that's why Adria and I are very lucky.
We always say to this day, oh, more than a few times a week I feel like we couldn't imagine
not going to UM and...
It really shaped us and it really made us the entrepreneurs we are.
I'm Stephanie Vendetti.
And I'm Adria Infendetti.
And it's all about the you.
