The whole festival has been great and what a great night, I mean I know it was really
busy but it just shows everyone was in Toowoomba on Saturday for the flour, food and wine and
Friday night was a great night and today the weather gods are shining on us, it's wonderful
for town and for the economy in the region.
The foods are highlight for me, I love trying all the different foods and the wines, we sat
in on one of Miguel's cooking classes which was a lot of fun, very interactive but I think
the concerts, that's what a lot of people have come for and I don't know which one was
my favourite.
It's been absolutely fascinating, I wasn't expecting, I don't know what I'm going to
find when I come to Toowoomba because I've never been in this area before but when I
actually got into the whole festival, into the heart of the festival, with all the activities,
the organisation, the parade and all that amazing things going on, it's been actually
our game for, do not forget, forever, it's just really fantastic and I actually would
love to come back next year.
It's been really good yet again, I think we've been very lucky with the weather this year,
the weather's been great, I think Friday here at the Heritage Live Erganangie Cloud
Food and Wine Festival, it actually broke all records and then last night I was actually
here pretty much till the end and it really went off, there was so many people here, great
food, great wine and great music, it was a really great night.
I've been with the show for about nine years now and slowly over that time it grows each
year, it changes a little bit each year and every year it becomes better and better and
better and 2013 has been no exception, it's the highest level we've had yet.
Floral Art Around the World is growing slowly but surely and this event, this competition
and this gallery space allows people to fine tune their skills and their creativity in
a way that they don't get anywhere else, so each year it offers them a new opportunity
to raise it to another level and they do, it's fantastic.
Over the three days I think having a variety of different musicians makes it good for all
ages.
First time I've ever been here, heard about it, known about it for many years but first
time I've actually been here, so it was, it's kind of you go where did all these people
come from, it's absolutely amazing, amazing festival.
Oh the atmosphere has been amazing, seriously, the weather's beautiful, the music's fantastic
so when you can grab food and wine and sit with some musicians, it just brings the crowds
in I think.
Brilliant atmosphere, can you believe it, you know, it's, I think you get this kind of
atmosphere on a New Year's Eve, if you go anywhere on a New Year's Eve, that's the kind
of feeling that you get, people down the front, right from the beginning, right up there
with us, they're saying, everything I wanted them to sing, they did every boo, I wanted
them to boo, every woo that I wanted them to do, they just took the floor.
I think it's just the vibe of the whole thing and the interaction with the audience, the
crowd, they're a wonderful bunch out here.
One of the things I always love about the festival here at Carnival is that everyone
is in such a good mood, such a great frame of mind but there's never any negativities,
everyone is just out, have a really good time.
Well it's almost like a slice of heaven in the middle of this amazing garden because
everything is so well organized, okay, so you get all the marquees with music, so you
feel hungry, you don't have something to eat, so if you want to have something to drink,
you go and sit in the library, if you want to learn about wine, you go and win demonstrations.
The atmosphere is really healthy, really clean, really, really fantastic, I've done a lot
of food shows around the country and this is, I have to say, one of my favorites, really,
is passion.
