Say no to the Tar Stands 1.
We are the people too.
I will be loud and clear.
Say no to the Tar Stands 1.
We are the people too.
I will be loud and clear.
Say no to the Tar Stands 1.
We are the people too.
I love the louder things.
Say no to the Tar Stands.
We're not a manor.
We don't want no climate, danger, and hate.
We don't want no climate, danger, and hate.
We don't want no climate, danger, and hate.
No!
No!
They are on the wrong side here.
They know that these jobs claims are dubious.
That the jobs claims that they have been touting,
came from a study conducted by TransCanada,
a company that is pushing to build this pipeline.
this pipeline. The actual jobs numbers are closer according to a Cornell University
ThinkTank study. Closer to 3,500 jobs will be created through building this pipeline.
And those are simply temporary jobs.
Yesterday, the House of Representatives led by Speaker Maynard passed a bill that would
fast track construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.
The pipeline has been declared game over for climate change by leading climatologists.
Speaker Maynard, in a political gamble, tacked on pipeline construction to an unrelated payroll tax cut bill.
It is no surprise to us that Speaker Maynard would take such desperate measures to save an issue
that both President Obama and Senate Leader Reid have threatened to kill.
Speaker Maynard has been bought and paid for by the corporate fossil fuel industry.
I stand with Sonnet Gabbard, an Ohio teacher, who says that John Maynard represents everything wrong with our political system today.
He's taking millions from corporate interests and using secret deals to push through their policies rather than serving Ohio families and the American people.
So what's the next step?
The next step is to continue to strategically organize actions to escalate around the issue to prevent the Keystone XL pipeline with what makes sense with the national campaign.
