I don't want to take my time going to work, I know I want to go off and go to work for
it.
So it's my first time in Wellington, it's a pretty cool little city, I mean we're staying
right in town so it's always good, the little restaurants and cafes and the bowl is close
to where we're staying so yeah it seems really good.
It's more like skating a pool than a boat ramp, it's a lot tighter and quicker and a
lot more little corners and little things to get used to but I like it, I think it's
fun, it's the co-things really good, it grinds well, the guys like Pedro and everyone that
skates poles and pools, perfect.
I mean it's always good to wind down at the end of the day and have a few cold beverages
and hang out with everyone and catch up but we're here for skating but we're here to
have fun too so they're both good.
I enjoy watching the Masters skate more than anything, I grew up watching those guys learning
tricks from and I get super stoked watching those guys skate, they have the greatest
tricks and they look like they have them more fun than anyone.
In the beginning it was all based in California, you know you'd go to Central California and
Northern down to San Diego, you know now it's gone to this international level and to come
here and be a part of it in this wonderful incredible place is amazing.
I'll just say my thoughts on Steve Caballero in general, he's still one of the top guys
you know within our division, you gotta come out and watch him and really see what it means
to be a skateboarder.
Lizzie right now represents you know girl skating, you know the guys, we're not giving
her any special favors, she really had to earn it and put herself out there on the line
and it was, you know she really held her own.
It's a real skater hands-on event, there's the people that are involved really are skateboarders
and you're not going to get that from a corporate type contest, not that those are bad but this
one really offers you know just something that you can't manufacture.
So the whole thing is really well planned out, a lot of fun and you know I hope it keeps
going, I'd like to be a part of it.
Tune in 11am Saturday for the live webcast at www.bolorama.com.au.
