I've been coming to the frontiers since I moved here in 2004.
Six years now.
I've been coming here for seven years since 2000 in Montenegro, which is, what, eleven, ten years?
Ten years?
Probably about twelve years, myself.
I've been coming to the frontiers since I was, like, six.
That's, like, twelve years.
I've been coming here for my whole life.
I've been born and raised in New Mexico, so that's eighteen years.
I've been here many times, too many times to count.
Hi, hi. I have, um, my mother's family.
Okay.
I'm not friends with them.
Okay.
Subtle?
Tickle.
My favorite food is probably, probably the enchiladas.
The green chili enchiladas?
The enchiladas with Christmas, which is red and green chili.
I usually have the huevos rancheros.
Huevos rancheros.
The green chili cheese fries, which I try to stay away from.
Breakfast burritos.
Yeah, definitely the breakfast burritos.
It's about the best thing ever.
I like to get the breakfast burrito with carnada vada.
French fries with a hamburger and, like, a medium vanilla shake.
The chicanaches.
My favorite food is everything.
Dip in than other restaurants.
You got a great location across the street from the university.
The number one thing is the atmosphere.
It's, it's relaxed.
It's, I think, obviously it's a college atmosphere.
And then the second thing I would say are the prices.
You get a great deal of good food for reasonable prices compared with other places.
There's a couple things.
One, the artwork. I'm a painter myself, so I love art.
Two, the social quality of it.
You find people that you know here without a doubt.
Or friendly people, at least.
And three, the food is really good.
They have a bunch of pictures of John Wayne everywhere.
It's just, like, real Southwest stuff.
The way we run the system is the counter.
Like I said, it was one of the first fast food counters with all the cashiers.
It makes it different.
It's very fast-paced and very New Mexican and friendly service.
Great environment.
There's tortillas.
Tortillas is way good.
It's like homemade. Everything's pretty much homemade.
That's what I like about it.
I love the culture.
Like, it has so much of what New Mexico is.
The history behind it.
I mean, it's been open for almost 40 years now.
And it's kind of a landmark here in Albuquerque.
Everyone knows the frontier.
